Must pick up in Flint Michigan. I'm real easy to find, just 1/4 mile west of I-75 at the Corunna Rd. exit which is just 2 exits north of I-69. I have a very nice running and working Dewalt 9 horse power twin tank air compressor. It started today with it 19 degrees outside. See the pictures. It's running and the gauge at 125 PSI. It airs up fast and drops to an idle until you use enough air. Then kicks up the throttle( at 90psi) by itself and takes it back to 125 again. It has a twin cylinder compressor like the big boys do and with the 9 horse power should hold up to a lot of usage. These sell new in the $1700.00 range! Thanks for looking!

Commercial Sears Gas Air Compressor
Up for auction is a Commercial Sears Gas Air Compressor. This compressor was bought 2 years ago for a service truck and it was never used. It has been stored in my garage for the last 2 years. I need to clean up. So I pulled it out 2 weeks ago and decided to put it up for sale. I pulled it out of storage and have done a complete service new air filters. Plug wire, plug, oil change on both engine and pump. It runs as good and strong as the day I purchased it. This compressor is a 2 stage. It takes about 2 1/2 minutes to go from 0 to 250 lbs. It will run a 1 inch impact easily. Engine does not smoke or use any oil. I pulled plug on tank running inspection camera inside to inspect the integrity of the tank very little oil residue or rust was found. Tank is clean which was surprising for it's age. VINTAGE TECUMSEH 2 1/2 HP ENGINE AND AIR COMPRESSOR GAS POWERED PORTABLE WHITE
The ID plate is missing on the motor so I can't say for sure what it is. It is several years old and it does not have recoil. I'm including the starting rope and handle I have with it. It is a 2 1/2 hp with the Ezee Start. The engine has fire and I have had it running but it needs carburetor work. You can hold the choke on and it runs for a while but eventually dies. I think it probably needs the carb cleaned or the float set, at the worst the carburetor rebuilt, but I don't think so. The engine didn't make any bad noises or knocks and it didn't smoke. When you hold your hand over the intake hole on the air compressor, it does have suction, that's all I can say about it. The engine will be shipped without oil or gas in it. This has not been tested, so it is being sold as non-working. The top gauge cover is not original. We are not sure if the rear cover is original or not, but you have to pinch the(2) pins inward in order to remove the rear cover. Although we are not 100% sure, it appears that this is the original electrical cord and switch, but the original plug has ... morebeen cut off. We are providing a brown, vintage-looking 2-prong electrical plug for the new owner. The electrical cord is approximately 9' 6" in length. Although we are not 100% sure, it also appears to be the original air hose attached to the rear of the compressor. This air-hose is just under 5' in length. The last(2) pictures are where we tried to photograph under the compressor. It is very clean! One of the original rubber pads that the compressor rests on underneath has long since disappeared and had been replaced with another pad, so the compressor sits just a hair unevenly in the rear. This is an original vintage brass swing check valve. It is marked General Fire Extinguisher Company on the cap. It is about 3 inches long overall and about 2 3/4 inches tall. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in perfect condition. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and the swing works perfectly and seats well. It has a few light wrench marks from past service. I believe it is ready to be used on a vintage water pump or gas engine cooling setup. The compressor appears to work good. It has a newly added Snap-On model BF555 air adjusting valve with a Sharpe Gauge. The gasoline engine starts easy and runs good. The compressor is missing the belt guard. Has a home made handle, and the tank pressure gauge lens is cloudy and hard to read. It could also use the back wheels lined up better and could use some cleaning. The compressor is being listed as a local pickup only. This is a 70's vintage unit that was a tow-behind. I rebuilt it and put it on casters to use in my shop to power a large forging hammer. It has the International C-200 4- cylinder engine. I bored and honed the compressor chamber when I rebuilt it and put rings. Rod and main bearings, gaskets, seals, fuel and water pumps, valves and guides, carb rebuild, starter, and radiator core. Unit comes with 175' of air hose, two packages of new replacement vanes and a service manual/parts list. Runs great! Offered for pick-up only. Would be easiest to pull this up on a tilt bed trailer.
