This is a 110v setup that we bought about 7 years ago when our company was starting to do some residential wood floor refinishing jobs. We used the equipment about 6 times. But has really sat unused over the last 6 years. Our company focuses on refinishing gymnasium floors and have not done any residential jobs for 6 years, and this is what we bought the unit for. Most of the cosmetic blemishes are from the unit being moved around our shop and the vehicles it was in. Everything works great. The only known defect is the handle on the vac unit is bent down some. Clarke LV-8 Floor sander 8" drum
This is a working floor sander. I bought it off a friend and used it to refinish my bedroom floor. It works well. It is not as powerful as the newer units. The motor seems to struggle with the more coarse grit papers but it got the job done for me. Maybe it can be repowered with a newer motor. I would suggest a repower if you were going to use it commercially or you can just use it for parts. I no longer need this machine as my floor is done and I realize floor sanding is not for me. I think this stator is for the clarke DU 8 there are not really any marking numbers it was in a box of clarke sander parts it has dust all over the windings look good. also have a new armature that looks good so that should show the armature is new since it is clean.also there are du 8 parts in the box so I took measurements overall armature length is 11 1/4 and the windings area diameter is 3 inches front mounting plate is 6 1/4 with 6 holes but 2 of those are threaded they are in 2 sets of 3 on opposite sides The stator is 5 by 5 too big for my model b.Also selling clarke gearbox grease any question or help in identifying this appreciated.thanks

From local business liquidation. This is an older model Clark WorkMaster industrial floor sander with 8" sander drum. Definitely one of the earlier models with wooden handle and screw-in type fuse. Probably the best quality ever made too. Simple operation with power switch mounted on the handle. Machine pivots front and back while the drum is always spinning. Press forward to make sanding contact wit the floor. I'm told it's a good working unit but I am unable to test it because of the configuration of the prongs on the plug end. The ID tag on the machine indicates 110 volt but I can't find any receptacles around the building that match it so I really don't know.
