CLARKE DU-8 DRUM SANDER floor vintage sanding refinishing antique tool flooring
This does run but needs a little bit of work. It has one broken belt that runs the drum and the drum mechanism that clamps the sand paper to the drum is locked up with rust so that would need to be taken apart and gone through, most of this is aluminum but the steel parts do have some rust. The drum spins freely by hand and the whole thing rolls well on it's steel castors, it has a heavy duty cord that is a little dirty but in good shape and very long. It comes with the dust bag and I may have the long J shaped tube that connects the bag to the machine but I am unsure at this moment, I will check and update this later. There is also a little corrosion on the aluminum. You can pick up in Farmington, MO. This was not my machine and I am not sure of it's previous life, I believe I have pointed out all that I can that is wrong with it.

American Spinner Hardwood Floor Edge Sander, NoResv
This is a American Spinner Hardwood Floor Sander that came in a tool lot I bought at a sale I did not know what this was at the time. I had to do research on the internet to figure out what this was used for. I eBayed it once before quite awhile back with a non responsive buyer. After going through the whole resolution process for nonpayment by a buyer on eBay I forgot all about this sander. I just ran across the box in storage recently and had to open the box up to see what was in it, then I remembered about it(Not remembering about it might have something to do with age according to what's her name, that woman that lives here) Its a little confusing trying to find information about this sander on the internet, there is an American and a Clarke American that look pretty much the same but appear to be different companies so I do not know ... moreall the particulars about this machine. Anyway, this unit is from dry storage in dry New Mexico so rust is not a problem. It is used with repairs, I plugged it in and let it run for about 30 seconds, it seems to work fine with no unusual noises other than it sounds like a jet engine on afterburner when it is running. It would probably be quieter with a bag on the dust collector. There is one repair/service sticker on it and a weld repair to a handle and a caster, the welds look like they are plenty strong and done right so someone thought this was worth keeping and using. The casters are adjustable so that should not effect use just as it is, I see new replacement casters are available on the internet if you want to change it. The unit is pretty clean and the electrical cord and plug are in good condition. To the best of my limited knowledge it looks like everything is working OK. It is not doing anything useful sitting in my storage so I just need to pass it on to someone who can put it to work, because of that NO RESERVE sold as is. Clarke Model BE-7 7-inch Floor Edger Sander with Bag
A Clarke BE-7 7-inch floor sander edger with bag. This model is similar to newer Clarke edgers. But has long, swept-back handles. Sander runs, but light bulb does not light. I do not have any sandpaper discs to check actual operation, but do not see any reason why it would not work. There is a clip for the disc wrench, but no wrench is included. Sander is used. And shows some wear. The metal body has dulled with age. There is a minor casting break on the left handle, but it is not loose and appears to have no affect on the sander. One owner. Orebro 10" 230V Drum Floor Sander. Excellent Condition. Works like new. Was put into storage around 2001/2002. Used it once in 2006 in my own home. Then put it back in storage. It's pictured in the storage unit it's been in for the last 12-13 years. Was always used with a Power Station. Has the nose weight for a deeper cut. Also was always transported by an enclosed trailer with a ramp and a specific tie-down location. No pickup beds where it could slide around or be dropped from. As of now I haven't located the swing arm for the cord, or the tool(arbor wrench) to change the sandpaper. If I do I'll add them to this auction, until then they are not included. It is available for inspection with a day or two notice. Local pick up is preferred. But I'm sure freight could be arranged.
