A heli coil are larger bolt will be required before being able to use it!!!! Bolt pattern for where the water hopper/cylinder bolts onto a block measures 3 11/16” x 6” on center. Antique Colt Baxter Circa 1868 Steam Engine Salesman's Sample or Patent Model
This antique salesman's sample/ patent model/ master model circa 1868 is totally original with no replacement parts. Colt Arms sales tanked after the Civil War. They decided to manufacture a small portable steam engine designed by William Baxter. The engine came in 2. 4, 6, 8, and 10 hp sizes. Approximately 17 full size Colt Baxter engines have survived; they are exceptionally rare. This is the only salesman's sample/ patent model/ master model I know of. This engine was probably built by the prototype gunsmiths at Colt Arms. You may notice the arch above the crank was changed from a peak center to a smooth oval on the production engine. Also there are 2 distinct governor designs. One is gear driven the other belt driven, both presented on this model. Excellent antique dental drill. Has a patent date of March 17 1903. Has pictured cord that is knotted in a couple of spots and does not fit around wheels. When the top wheel is spun you can see/feel the cable spinning at the other end near the hand piece. But the inner part of the hand piece(where the bit would go) does not spin. I am not sure and make no guarantees of the potential or ease of refurbishment. The wheel turns nicely when the pedal is manipulated, and as a whole the unit seems like it would function well from pedal to end of cable with a belt attached. Weighs 23 lbs and stands 55" tall. Measurements are approximate. The piece will be shipped in 1 box, but 3 pieces as the crossbar and cable, center vertical shaft and the engine part seperate easily. Up for your consideration is a vintage rope start Briggs& Stratton four cycle small engine. Didn't see the horse power anywhere. I would guess a 3 to 5. I have not started it but the pulley turns freely. Looks to be complete but can't guarantee it. Shows signs of use with surface wear and some dings here and there. Normally I find these full of grease or all rusty. Please understand that the item is being sold"as is" I picked it up at a estate sale. They keep it in the basement. Was surprised how clean it was. RARE Ashcroft Grinnell Company antique old steam engine air sprinkler gauge!!!!
Up for bids is an old Ashcroft air pressure gauge from Grinnell Company in Providence RI. Its untested and most likely not in working condition but again it has not been tested. It measures 4 7/8" diameter and it has original patina and wear to it. It has a glass face and an original dial. The dial does show some signs of age with some corrosion on one of the edges see pics. The air inlet in the bottom looks plugged but more than likely it could be cleaned out. It does have a face that is threaded on but I did not try to take it off to avoid damage to the gauge. This would also make a great piece for a steam engine collector or for a nice looking display. Sold is where is and again its untested and working condition is unknown. Antique brass grease cup for Hit or Miss. Steam or early gasoline automobile engine. Overall height 2 1/2" Overall diameter 1 5/8" Bottom thread is 1/4" NPT. Flats measure 1 3/8" across. Internal cap threads down as top is turned to force grease out. There are no manufacturer markings on the fitting. It shows some wear and some nicks, but overall is in very nice condition.

Antique brass grease cup or oil fitting for Hit or Miss. Steam or early gasoline automobile engine. Overall height 1 5/8" Knurled top opens for lubrication port and then spring action automatically shuts top. These measure 1" across the flats. The thread is 18 TPI. The thread is tapered and measures 0.650" at the bottom. One of the fittings has the numeral"7" stamped on the side. Otherwise there are no markings. Two of the fittings have a couple of bumps on the flats, but overall, they are in very nice shape. There are three fittings in the lot.

This specially for Leybold Scientific Co. all hand made by Hohm Germany) diesel cutaway engine model, once long ago was used by instructors/ teachers to teach students how a 4 stroke diesel engine works. It dates from the 1960’s and stands 17 inches tall. It’s in an amazing good condition. Nothing missing or cracked, all parts move freely. By turning the crank all functions can be viewed like valve operations. vintage Lauson LMC gas engine antique old motor
For auction is an old Lauson LMC engine. It has fire and compression and when I primed it it fired off. The rope pulley is broken(I have one off a Clinton that I think you could make work that I will include) The tag is missing. The engine was repainted at some point and they just painted over the top of the dirt and grease. When I had the shroud off to clean the points I cleaned the shroud to make sure it was not all rust pitted and it seems to be good. A nice small engine to clean up and restore. Antique Asa W. LaFrance business sales card LaFrance Fire Engine Co. Elmira NY. Card measures 3.75 x 2.25 inches. Asa LaFrance was a salesman for the company where his brother developed novel and ingenious steam-driven fire engines in Elmira. Card has print of one of the horse-drawn engines. Presumably some kind of pumper. The card says"Asa W. LaFrance with the LaFrance Fire Engine Company, Elmira, NY. Their company had various names after it was founded roughly 1880 but was called the LaFrance Fire Engine Company around 1900. This card came from an estate in Boise, Idaho. How it got to Idaho is a mystery. On the back of the card, 1890" and the word"electrotype" are written in pencil. No rips or tears, stains or other damage. Some darkening due to age.

I believe this is a IHC Mogul fuel pump. I'm not sure you be the judge. Looks like 36-T to me. I don't know if this fits a single size or all sizes? The hand plunger is loose. The packing nut is loose. The shaft is stuck but looks shiny under the packing nut. I can hear the check balls when I shake it so maybe not stuck too bad. Shipping is for lower 48 only. For auction is an old Briggs WI gas engine. This has the brass tag and the older style lug base. It has the earlier style wm wmb carb with the aircleaner the aircleaner.
