Vintage U.S. AIR FORCE Water Tank w/Shoulder Strap Type 1 Specification 404?9
Don't know much about this tank other than it's U.S. Air Force! Guessing it was used for water. This is a Type 1 with a specification number that is not completely legible(see pic#4) The tank is green with some dents and rust spots. Not sure if it holds water. I also cannot attest to the originality of the brass spigot that is attached.this is the way it was found. The tank measures 22 1/2" tall(not counting the spigot which is 5" and is 10" in diameter. Kaeser 2005 SX 6 with TA 5 Dryer & Air Tank - Only 69 hrs!
Very nice used 2005 Kaeser SX 6 Screw Compressor with TA 5 air dryer and holding tank. This machine only has 69 hours on it since it was new! These compressors will run for more than 100.000 hrs! Originally purchased by the government agency. Obviously they did not use the machine much and consequently the air compressor did not accumulate many hours. A company that specializes in air compressors just check out and tested this unit. Time to fill tank, cut in and cut out all work great and compressor runs quiet. Air filter and oil are clean. Since it was stored outside, the top was rusted so we primed and painted the compressor, dryer, and tank(see pictures) We taped off the stickers and emblems. This is a film drying device for film on reels or spirals and will take one 120 or two 35 mm spirals. It is a closed air circulation system with forced air traveling in a loop past the film and then a dessicant that removes the moisture then circulated back and past the film. The dessicant or drying agent takes the water out and stores it until it is heated after many rolls of film have been dried The device is a plug in unit requiring standard North American home power of 115 volts AC 60 Hz. This unit will dry film in about 10 minutes regardless of the room humidity because it does not exchange the air inside with the air outside the dryer. Instructions for use including rejuvenating the dessicant are included right on the the lid of the unit.
