We've used this unit for 2 years with no problems. Came in one day and the message stated"cleaning chutes" and that's all that it will do. So we are selling this folder as'not working. Please bid accordingly- you can use it for parts or have it fixed. It ways 120 pounds. So shipping can be costly. You are welcome to pick it up at no expense. For sale is a Pitney Bowes FD40& FD48 I had ran it thru all the fold cycles and used the counter function also. I had thoroughly cleaned it out and ran it for about an hour doing the different folds until i ran out of 8. by 14 paper. This was removed from a goverment facility that closed. I also have other mailing equipment I'll be listing such as a DM1000& A DM500 with manuals and CD so check out my other auctions thanks. This will be created for free. However it is sold as is because of the shipping size it would be unpractical to sell otherwise. Please keep in mind i ran all the different folds with out any issues. This has over a million folds and i don't know what type of life it has but they are industrial machines that are well know for dependable. Please note this was sold earlier for $350 there was a issue with the feed roller ... moreand he offered me $50 for it i said no and i cleaned it and it ran over 150 sheets in under a minute when it ran out of paper go to youtube and type in pitney bowes fd40 for a video of it running. the roller may have to be replaced it around $15 from pitney bowes. The rollers have smooth sides to it thats on it now. I'll also add another video of it later when i get more paper. Because his Dad took the 3/4 ream he brought Also the buyer has left negative feedback and in my defense i rebuke it by saying his dad offered me $50 bucks for it and i said no they are uneducated people and any seller should beware of them. You can see it work they tried to get something for nothing. I have already files a buyer complaint with ebay. He also requested that i pay him $500 for Gas.
