Land of the Giants is a section of the Missouri River that we access by motorized boat. We coined the phrase " land of the giants" 15 years ago. This section got its nickname for a reason! The biggest and baddest fish in the Missouri live in this section. Many of our clients will fish multiple days here and stay in Helena for the duration of their trip.

Always a Great Time!
I have fished with Steinmetz Outfitters on two separate trips to Helena, MT. Josh Steinmetz is great to fish with and he is always tuned in to what is working on the water. I am amazed at the quality of the fish he has put me on. As far as fly fishing goes, I am mediocre at best. Josh is always patient and willing to help improve my skills. We have had up to eight people in our party and the other ... more guides Josh uses are always top notch! Remember it is Montana. Bring a variety of gear because this last trip it was 70* one day and we were fishing in a snowstorm the next day. You will not regret booking a trip Steinmetz Outfitters. Just do it!
