Antique Vintage Metal Step Stool Industrial Steampunk Folding Steps Machine Age
This is a very cool old metal step stool with steps that fold inward. Dating back to the 1940's or 1950's. The step stool is in very good condition and appears to have been re-painted many blue moons ago. It is a flat black paint with some chipping and paint splatters. It appears the top of the stool has a very old floor tile glued to it. The folding step mechanism works well, the stool is sturdy, weighing a hefty 12-1/2# It has utilitarian uses yet, or can be a new steampunk art form. Just loved the curved legs and the curved top step bracket. Was planning to restore it because this type of stool is perfect for my 4 year old grandaughter who loves to help my wife in the kitchen. However, while attempting to do a complete home remodel while living in it has put to many strains on my space and time. It did have black vinyl treads on the two steps, but that is long gone. In very good condition with just a few minor flaws. There is a small nick in the vinyl at the upper right corner on the backrest, also a tiny nick at the very top of the back. There are no tears on the seat, though the vinyl has pulled out a little at the front left corner seam(see pics) There are a couple rubs in the paint on the steps, otherwise the paint is in great shape. With the two lower steps folding up, this old primitive doubles as a stepstool and a sitting stool. It measures 23-1/4" tall x 9-3/4" deep x 14" wide at the top. As indicated. The top step is 9-3/4" deep, while the other two are 3-3/4" deep. When the lower steps are folded down, the base measures 21-1/2" deep. Much of the original red and white paint remains. Antique Primitive Step Stool Ladder Folding Wood with 3 Steps
This is a listing for ANTIQUE WOOD FOLDING THREE-STEP STEPSTOOL WITH ORIGINAL RED/WHITE PAINT. With the two lower steps folding up. This old primitive doubles as a stepstool and a sitting stool. It total stool measures 22 3/4" tall x 11" deep x 12 1/2" wide at the top. The top step is 9-3/4" deep x 12 1/2" wide, while the other two steps are 4" deep x 9" wide. When the lower steps are folded down, the base measures 19" deep. You can see that the original red and white paint remains but there is a lot of paint splatters on it as it must have been used by a painter. This stool needs to be tightened up I don't recommend using but for decoration the way it is. The top step has a very slight separation between the two planks used for the top. For your consideration. I have a vintage Cosco step stool in blue with black legs. I'm a little obsessed with these little guys- I can't resist buying them when they look hideous and then sandblasting and repainting them to be beauties again. Steps fold out easily. These chairs were made to be tough and after 50 years, there's still a lot of them around. This isn't perfect- it had some rust on legs that was sandblasted out but there is pitting in the metal that was covered when we painted it. It also has a few little dings on the top edge but this only adds to the charm of the little guy. He's ready for another 50 years- just needs a good home! This is a really cool piece! VINTAGE Cosco Kitchen Chair/ Stepstool. Your Grandma had one in her kitchen. Sunshiney yellow. Stands approx 34 1/2" to the height of the back of the chair. Seat height is 24" 15" wide x 14" deep(the seat) This has been refurbished. We sandblasted the chrome so its clean and shiny. Repainted the yellow so its fresh. We replaced the vinyl with a pretty yellow marine vinyl.its not the smooth shiny original vinyl, but a sturdier pretty yellow. The rubber on the steps is original, so shows wear, has worn off in parts& has paint smudges on it. This retains the authenticity of the piece, Look at the photos! This is sweet.

Vintage Wood Retro Step Stool Flip Up Steps Folding Stool
Up for your consideration is a very nice retro 1940s wood step stool. Fold up steps The condition is fair to poor or fabulous depending on how you look at it. There is generalized paint loss. There are chips off of the wood on both steps and the corner of the top. There are scratches. Cracks, dings and gouges. All that being said it is an awesome stool with a fabulous look. Sturdy enough to sit on. It may be a little bit wobbly if you stand on it. Overall in my opinion it is a great stool to decorate with. For sale is a good used red step stool chair with two retractable steps. It is approximately 36” total height. The seat is approximately 14” X 12” and 24” high. Structurally this stool is very good. It is in need of a good cleaning. The chrome has some discoloration and needs shined up. There is some paint wear and also some stray paint flecks on it.
