PLATT'S CHLORIDES Disinfectant Bottle Original label s on body and shoulder. A dramatic antiseptic bottle from the time of the influenza epidemic with a full wrap around label. The bottle has ample embossing on the base. This large bottle has really interesting graphics and plenty of reading material on the label, like a snapshot in history. Made at a time when infectious diseases were finally fought with powerful disinfectants. Huge wrap-around label goes all the way up to the neck. Label has some discoloration& loss. 1883 Antique Hair bottle from Nashua. New Hampshire. This is a HALL'S VEGETABLE SICILIAN HAIR RENEWER BOTTLE. R.P. Hall& Co. Proprietors. Nashua, N.H. It has a full wrap paper label. There is a small remnant of a private proprietary revenue stamp on the neck of the bottle that conveniently enough, dates this particular bottle to 1883. There is no embossing on this bottle other than the letter H on the base. This bottle was mouth blown in a mold and has a hand tooled patent finish(lip) and smooth base. The full wrap paper label has issues as seen in the photos. The bottle itself has no chips. Cracks or repairs. There are some smooth grooves or wrinkles in the lip that were part of the tooling process. sloppy workmanship) They are not chips or cracks. The bottle measures 6 1/2"inches tall. Color is Aqua. !800's Dr. Belding Skin Remedy Embossed Bottle with full wrap around label
This is a great looking quack medicine bottle from the 1800' that has an applied lip. Dr. Belding Skin Remedy is listed in the medical Investigator in june 1864. Company was seised by the US court in 1914 for fraudulent claims. This bottle has a very unique wrap around paper label that covers the embossed lettering on the back and both sides. This is a very old bottle and is a rare find with a full intact label. Aesthetically. A very nicely designed label which makes a very desirable addition to the antique bottle collector.

Rare 1900's bottle of Adler-I-Ka Treatment with 100% intact Wrap around Label
You won't find a more graphically beautiful patient medicine bottle. Being a graphic designer. This bottle sets a bench mark for label design for the period. Was first introduced by The Adlerika Co. in Saint Paul, Min.as a quack medicine that claimed to cure Appendicitis. After the induction of the FDA Act they changed the word" cure" to the treatment of Stomach disturbances Because they couldn't prove thet it cured anything. The label has the date of 1912. The lip has been applied which dates the bottle in that time frame. The bottle has an unusual glued to the bottle wrap around label including the bottom. Adler-I-Ka was manufactured in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. The name was invented as an adage for Dr. Adler's cure for appendicitis even though there was no Dr. Adler. This early bottle with this gem almost perfect label is a very rare find that you may never see again and because of the large bottle size, this makes a stand out bottle in any collection. This sale is for an unused Pre-Prohibition 12oz Jetter's Malt Tonic bottle label designed for 3.7% alcoholic content malt liquor extract brewed and bottled by the Jetter Brewing Company of South Omaha. Nebraska. This large wrap-around medicinal label measures about 9.75" x 3.5" dates circa 1912, and it is in excellent condition with rich, bright colors. This label was removed from a scrapbook. But was not soaked. It has a bit of scrapbook paper at 4 small spots on the reverse. These remnants could easily be removed, but I choose not to get the label wet.
