I ordered and replaced the door gasket because it needed it. By the time the gasket came in the part for my auto-clave came in. I was able to fix my clave and ended up not needing this one. This is the medium size All American pressure steam sterilizer. My old roommate bought it to sterilize agar plates and rye grain to propagate Pearl Oyster mushrooms. He grew one batch of them and lost interest in the hobby. Then he left it behind when he moved out of state. It was probably used less than 5 times. The gauges and valves are not worn out at all. The only sign that it is used is a nick in one of the handles and water marks on the outside of the inner lining. He used petroleum jelly to lubricate the seal.
