The case lid has U.S. on the top. On the frame is stamped US A.P.C. 1974. It has a dark army green fuel canister with two separate control valves for each burner. The directions to use the piece are printed on the canister. Also included are the black metal wind shields that go around the piece when lit. It appears to not have been used. The metal fold out arms are intact and work correctly on the one side and the other side is missing the attached metal brackets to hold them in place. There are some surface scuffs and minor dents& dings on various components. It appears that there may have been cork linings in both of the screw cap lids. It was recently serviced(6/2012) fully overhauled, parts replaced, calibrated, and safety tested by a major Long Island sterilizer company(Duraline service tag attached to body) Dimensions: 12" wide. 15" high, 15" deep. Tray: 5-1/4" wide. 13-1/4" long, and 3/4" deep. Weight: 35 lbs. This is a heavy-duty autoclave made of stainless steel and chrome-plated iron with lots of interior room. It is a beautifully designed high-tech-looking instrument that will look great in either a laboratory or small OR. Use of distilled water is recommended.
