Mint Condition. The THD Hot Plate is one of the most beloved output attenuators on the market. What is a power attenuator? A power attenuator is a device placed between the speaker output and the speaker cabinet. It acts like a huge master volume control and permits the amp to be turned up most or all the way while absorbing most of the power generated by the amplifier and turning this power into heat. Here we have a very nice. Little VWR mini-hot plate stirrer model 220. This solid little stirrer/hotplate has a 4x5.5 inch metal top and that's all the room it takes up on your lab bench. It's in good physical condition with no physical damage or staining and bot functions work nicely. An eclectic mix of Vintage& Antique Items- Many added every week. LOT DETAILS: 38814 An early c.20th hot plate with thick aluminium block top and original burner. Length below excludes the handles. Condition: Overall gleaming silver but does have some heavier engrained tarnish in places. Particularly to the burner cap. The burner cap lifter mechanism has come loose from its spigot but is an easy'dab of solder' job if it bothers you. There is a wick with the burner but ideally it needs to be slightly thicker as the winder doesn't catch it to lift it up and down.
