This is a rotary evaporator made by Buchi. Model RE 121. The bath is model B-461. The rotating assembly works well and responds properly to the speed control knob. The speed displays on the digital screen. The thermocouple works as well, displaying the proper temperature. The raise/lower assembly is in very good condition, operating properly.The bath heats up the way it should. The bottom of the rotating ground glass piece is chipped, however most of it is still there and holds/seals the assembly the way it should. The large o-ring on the inner glass vessel will need to be replaced. Overall this is in fair to good condition with some scratches and scale buildup in the heating bath.
