Winner of this auction will receive 2 rebuilt 1970's Nelson Alpha ll 1/2" full/part circle brass impact sprinklers. This is one of the great 1/2" sprinklers of all time made in the USA of American brass. The arm on this sprinkler is heavy duty and features a anti-backspash tube. The Alpha was the Cadillac of the Nelson line. They no longer make a 1/2" sprinkler close to this quality. This model can be used above ground or as an internal for the Nelson or Rain Bird pop-up. If you plan on using it above ground just let me know and I will change the fulcrum pin for you(the point on the top of the sprinkler used to mount it underground can be dangerous to kids and pets when used above ground) This Nelson Alpha ll was cleaned in our unique cleaning process which safely and gently cleans both the inside and the outside of the ... moresprinkler. This is a Rainer Buckner#865 brass vtg. water sprinkler with Stainless legs for driving into the ground. It has a pretty logo on one part see photos. Will test for serious buyer. It has a steel plumbing fitting connected to it with the teflon tape that the stainless legs are welded to. The sprinkler is 7" long from spray end to moving oscillator end. Thi s auction is for 1 beautifully rebuilt 1960's Rain Bird#30B full circle 3/4" double nozzle brass impact sprinkler. This#30B's was taken off the riser with channel lock pliers which marred the bearings so I installed brand new bearing. This old school Rain Bird was broken down and cleaned in our unique cleaning process. The arm spring was readjusted to OEM specs then water tested at min and max psi to insure proper speed and rotation. It works perfect! The 30B was made and assembled in the USA of American red brass. Now because of the internet our new and rebuilt sprinklers, as well as repair parts and rebuilding services, are available to everyone. Recently a couple of sellers have popped up on ebay offering rebuilt sprinklers. Please don't assume that all rebuilt sprinklers are rebuilt the same way and are of the same quality. These other reconditioners are using high impact glass bead to clean the brass(like sand blasting) I can tell because back in the 80's I did the same thing( I don't care what they say yellow sprinklers = impact blasting) You end up with a nice looking. Shiny brass sprinkler; however, I found that the glass bead removed small amounts of the brass which pitted the nipple and bearing. These pits held dirt, debris, and water deposits which did not allow the sprinkler to self flush, as it was designed to do.
