For sale this week is what I believe is Toa Mfg. Company outdoor loud horn speaker. It is vintage. Circa 1950's. This is what I have been told anyways. I know nothing about things like this. It came from an estate I recenty purchased. It is a light turquoise color. The top is marked Toa Mfg. EM-202. The inside is marked exclusive distributors Keenzales Enterprises PO Box 187 Buena Park California U.S.A. The horn measures 16 1/2" long by 13" around. There is a dent on the one side. I do not know if it works& unfortunately I don't know how to tell if it works. Just an unusual industrial antique. Shipping is $26.00. NO over seas sales or shipping. vintage circa 1980 Talk-A-Phone intercom unit This was purchased by an amateur radio operator who used it at home. It was connected to a speaker mounted outside the house. The final photo shows the record he kept of charging an external(backup? battery. Indicating usage from 1980 until 1991, after which he took it out of service- I have no idea why. The on/off switch on the back works. When on(and not attached to anything) The unit emits static since there is no sound to transmit since it is not connected to anything. The"push to talk" button on the front appears to work- it cuts out the static transmission. Comes with the Archer AC Adapter Cat. Up for sale is a pair of intercom units. The 4A876/4A881 powers up and the speaker works. But I don't have the equipment to fully test functionality. The 4A876A/4A881A did NOT power up for me, but all the buttons and press and release like they should on both units. The 4A876A/4881A includes the phone as pictured. one unit is missing the back panel to cover the wiring as shown in the above pictures. These are being sold together and will ship together. They are in overall good condition. I am unsure why the one unit does not power up, but that one might have plenty of parts to keep the other in working order. Hello- I got this set of vintage Vocatron intercoms at an estate sale recently. One has a replaced power cord. And when I plugged it in to the wall, it started smoking(I'm guessing because the cord is frayed and not attached correctly but I'm not sure) The other one plugged in fine and seems like it would work. The tubes glowed in each of the units. I'm selling these as non-working/for parts because of my test results. Someone with the know how to get them up and running should buy them and fix the one unit before plugging it in to an outlet. I just want to stress that one more time: The unit with the frayed cord is not safe in it's current state and needs repair before plugging it in to an outlet.
