Used Red Sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Protien Skimmer Foam Fractionator 300 Gallons
Up for auction I have a Red sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Protien Skimmer. This item is used and was part of a large lot of aquarium supplies I purchased. I only have freshwater tanks. So this is of no use to me. The skimmer has some minor issues that do not effect function. When I received the skimmer, the pump was siliconed to the main body of the skimmer. I took it apart figuring that it was just a bad o-ring. Not sure why you would use silicone to fix a cheap o-ring. Anyway, when I pulled it apart, there was one o-ring that was cut through. I had some laying around and tried one that fit but was a little thicker. Works good, fits tight and does not leak. I ran it for about 4 hours and then let is sit for about two more. Not one drop of water. The only problem is it looks kind of ugly where I cleaned off what I could of the slicone, as seen in ... morepictures 3 and 4. Also as you can see in picture 4 the bottom of the pump was sealed with silicone, not sure why it would even leak there, the pump is submersable, and it does not leak. Anyway as you can see I left that alone, I figured whoever buys it could mess with that if they want. I was more worried about the seal betwen the pump and the unit. The surface skimmer has some cracked slats at the top, all of the pieces are intack. I left that for the buyer to take care of with whatever glue they desire, easily fixable. There is supposed to be an o-ring between the collection cup and the main body. I don't have one that big so you will need to get one, $4.95 on Ebay. Also there is supposed to be a clamp to hold the suction pipe in place right above the pump. I have not been able to find that, if I do I will add it to the listing. It works fine without it though, even before I changed the o-ring. I think that is it, sounds like a lot of problems, but I wanted to be clear and honest. It really does work good and most of the problems are just cosmetic and it hangs on the back or on/in your sump so it won't even be seen. If I had saltwater I would have no problem using it. T

This gun is only a 1 1/2 years old and sprayed less than 10 sets of foam. Included with the gun are a few extra parts which are 2 mixing chambers(that have been used) Spool valve liner kit, manual valve assembly kit, and a few side seals and screens. We are selling this gun because we got tired of keeping parts around for 2 different guns. We bought a used spray foam machine with this new gun on it. This is a RARE pre-order bonus for the game PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2012 These were low-distribution. They were originally packed 2 per box when shipped from marketing. Many stores only received one box regardless of the number of orders. Some stores did not receive any at all. The pictures will show both sides of the card as well as multiple angles to show the vacuum seal. The size of the foam card is approximately 18 inches high by 12.5 inches wide. Please note: These foam cards were vacuum sealed. If you look closely in the pictures you will notice that it is not a true vacuum seal in the normal sense. As if they had done a 100% vacuum seal the foam would have been too scrunched up for the logos to be recognizable. Therefore, the vacuum was only applied to get it to a manageable shape for shipping purposes. In some pictures you will notice ... morethat there is a scrunch in the center of the card. The foam card has been folded at the center and that is also how the item will be shipped(folded at the center) I took a picture holding the foam card sideways so you could see that the scrunch was not a defect and was truly a result of the vacuum seal and the fact that it had been folded.
