I bought this on Craigslist to insulate my attic. I replaced the seals. 100' of the hose and the blower motor. I am almost done using it, and will be in a few days. It works GREAT at blowing in cellulosic insulation. I am intentionally initially listing this for more that it may be worth until I can find out how to calculate motor freight charges so I can ship it. I can palletize it and bring it to a trucking depot, where it should weigh in at 266 lbs. gross. This item will not be available for pickup until April 26. Please watch this item. We do more spray foam than wall spray and so we really do not need the machine. Typically machines of this caliber are sold for over $32K +. This one has been used but also maintained. This machine was used 2 days before we removed it from the truck. Both blower and vacuum system we used. Pulled about 2 weeks ago. We removed the vacuum system from the top of the machine which is necessary to both install and remove the machine from your truck. So the winner will be able to slide the unit ... moreinto a truck or high trailer and then install the vacuum system onto the top. If you choose to use the vacuum system. The machine comes with everything needed to do loose fill blow in except hose. For wall spray you will still need a water pump. Walls crubber, and spray nozzle. The remote is included and is a wire remote flip switch. The machine is being sold as is, with no guarantees and no returns or refunds simply because it is an electronic machine. Once mounted in a truck with a PTO option and spun up to proper RPM(determined by engine RPM and pulley size) the machine is controlled by an LED touch screen which allows you to choose which operation you want. From my perspective the machine has never failed us and if it is hooked up properly it will run great for the next owner. These machines really never die you may have to change a bearing or airlock rubbers occasionally but they just run and you do maintenance, no engine that blows up etc. If the electronics aren't your taste then it can be converted to a manual machine with the aid from the company who services these machines. Krendl 1000, 550 Insulation Blower Machine Cellulose Fiberglass Nu Wool Recycle
You are looking at a good used Krendl 1000 Fiberglass and Cellulose Insulation blowing machine. I have owned this for 5 years. And bought it from a local guy that owned it for 10 years before that. Always well maintained. Please keep in mind. This is not the same blower you will find at Lowe's, Home Depot or Menards. This is a contractor grade HEAVY machine. It weighs approximately 900 lbs. There is nothing skimped on these machines. It is equipped with 2- 3 stage blowers capable of 3 psi. They are also variable speed to adjust to varying blowing conditions. It is setup to operate off of a 240v Plug. Or it can be run off of 2 separate 120V plug in house hold circuits.This provides the greatest flexibility and convenience. It features a 12"x12" air lock. The seals have less than 1000 bags ran through them. I can usually get 30000-60000 ... morebags through a set of seals. Depends on the quality of material. Now for the best part about this machine- It is also set up to run like Krendl's 550 Recycle Machine! It is 2 machines set up in 1 Simply turn off the blowers. Connect a hose from another machine to the inlet, open the ball valve and begin wall spraying cellulose like the big rigs do! When I used it. I made a box wrapped with screen and attached a hose from my gas powered vacuum to feed directly back to this recycle machine. It worked very well and I could wall spray cellulose just as efficiently as with a full size rig, but still have the flexibility of a small machine. I had a dolly made underneath the machine to roll it around. The factory casters raised it up about 6" The dolly I made only raised it about 2" If needed.
