Being offered a used Edwards active pirani gauge. It is a pull from a brain dead TOF mass spectrometer. It was used to measure outlet pressure of a turbo pump. I t came from clean environment. The lot includes: Gauge(1) Connecting cable(1) Not pictured Manual can be obtained elsewhere: Each gauge has been tested as follows: 1. Gauge attached to an inlet of two-stage edwards mechanical pump and to a gauge controller(not included nor pictured) At atmospheric pressure it registers 2x10e2 mbar 2. The pump starts pumping and withing five minutes indicated pressure drops to ~3x10e-3 mbar I have several of these. Each was tested and I did not observe any differences in their behavior.

The vacuum port has a 1/4 inch VCR-type female fitting. The pressure measurement range is from 0.1 mTorr to 1000 Torr. An auto-ranging 3-digit green LED display shows the measured gas pressure value in Torr or mTorr. A nonlinear analog output ranging from 0.375 Vdc(0 Torr) to 5.534 Vdc(1000 Torr) is provided to allow remote monitoring of pressure. The module includes two setpoints which are programmed by means of the SET. UP and DOWN recessed push buttons on the panel. The setpoints activate two single-pole double throw(SPDT) relays for pressures below the programmed values. The states ... moreof the relays are indicated by the SP1 and SP2 green LEDs. The brass which surrounds the faceplate has a fair amount of corrosion. Which I have not attempted to polish. The faceplate. Which appears to be made of some type of thick cardboard product, has some bubbling as shown in the photographs. However. The gauge has a lot of character and, because it comes from my father's 1920s-1950s shop, is likely to be 75-90 years old. It has not been tested. ac vacuum pressure analyzer gauge
there is no glass in this gauge. It doesnt look like there ever was, face of this says AC vacuum pressure analyzer and measures 3 3/4 inches and has a short section of hose, i dont know much else about this, i got it from a tool box that was inherited. i know the toolbox has been untouched for 30 years so this must be that old. the top of this has black numbers and go from 0-10 and the bottom numbers are in red and go from 0-30. and back of this seems to have brass connections. if you have a question please ask, i will try to answer!
