Industrial 3" brass air pressure gauge grinnel? for sprinkler & fire protection
Up for auction is a brass air pessure gauge listed for fire protection. It came from the sprinkler room of an old glass factory. It says 3 inch but i think it might be considered a 4 inch. The actual measurement is 3 ad 3/4 inches. I believe it is from the grinnel company because many of the other brass gauges i got came from the same system and they actually say grinnel. This is a CROSBY gauge. Reads 0 to 10,000 LBS. PER SQ. INCH- 100 LB. SUBDIV. CROSBY- WELDED. I think it might be brass, it has gold colors where the edge is scuffed and the paint is off, also a magnet does not stick to it anywhere, except the threaded fitting with the red cap on. The front diameter is 5 and 1/4 inches, and the face itself is 4 and 1/8 inch diameter, and the back is 6 inch diameter with the mounting holes in it. I don't think the gauge was ever used, other than a couple of light scuff marks on the edge, it is clean.

Up for auction is an Ashcroft 304 stainless panel mount pressure gauge. Model 45-1009A-02B-60 PSIG range. Features U bracket, bronze tube and brass socket, and is the non filled variety. Dial face diameter is 4-½” nominally, has a ¼" male NPT lower back connection and has the safety blow out plug in the back. Face resolution is in 1 lb. increments. With an ASME B 40.100 Grade A(1% of span) no box. Pointer zero is well within the zero box, window is actual glass, not acrylic. This gauge saw only brief use, the front bezel has some shelf scuffs& wear and some associated dirt on the back. An excellent gauge choice for corrosive environments, photos are actual, glass is clean and clear.
