Fine Lead Solder - this is the good ol' day stuff
Alpha Fine Lead Solder with Rosin Core This is a roll of the good ol' days before the government decided we were too stupid to take care of ourselves. This spool weighs 4 lbs 9.5 oz and is what is left from a 5# net weight spool. I recognize this same spool from my mid-60s days as a electronic tech in the Air Force. so it meets the old military standards. If you have been soldering with this modern lead-free crap. You are in for a real treat. This melts at a lower temperature and is ideal for working on microcircuits where excessive temperatures will destroy them in a flash. This is advertised as Energized Rosin core. Not exactly sure what energized means but I do know this is solder is a pleasure to work with. This is.032" and is ideal for electronic applications.
