The top mounting surface is preloaded against the micrometer to provide smooth motion without backlash. Center drive metric micrometer with 10 micron scale. Stage material is steel with black chrome finish. Travel = 13 mm(total) with 8 kg load capacity. Supplied with 11 mm long locking thumbscrew to hold the stage in place without affecting location. Up for sale is a set of 3 Star Linear Systems linear stages. They are in good condition. I believe they have never been used. Input shaft is 11mm diameter and about 35mm long. Units measure 43.5" long with 33.5" of travel. All three stages are identical. Each stage contains a ball screw along with 4 bearing cartridges and two rails. The ball screws are about 1.5 turns per inch of travel. Just one of these new is several times the asking price of all three of mine. I am selling these as is so please ask questions before bidding. They look brand new with the exception of small dig here and there from being stored. The seals are in good condition.
