Aerotech Accudex Linear XY Stage& Unidex 11 Controller For sale- a large. Heavy Aerotech Accudex Linear XY Stage and Unidex 11 Controller. The stage has a model number on it but I couldn’t find any reference to it online. And the picture I took of what I thought was the decal with that number turned out to be just a generic Aerotech Accudex sticker. So I will have to go back and get the model number and update the listing. The square stage surface measure just under 11 ¾” And can travel about 4 ¼” As you can probably see it does have manual adjustments. But what was nice about this package is that with just the stage and controller I was able to test movement on both axis, and the thing seems to work just fine. The package also includes a joystick. And I was able to control the movement with that as well. So although I have ... morenot tried controlling it with a computer. It does appear to be fully functional. In the Run/Slew mode the movement is measured in microns. Displayed on the small LCD screen on the controller. In the Jog/Step mode it moves maybe an inch or so very quickly each time you hit the button. I had to go into the Index menu to get it to respond to the joystick. The controller does not have a GPIB/IEEE-488 interface. I guess that was an option not opted for. It does have an RS232 and an Opto Interface. Whatever that is. The system would appear to be functional but it is untested other than as described. And NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. This is a Pacific Bearing#DPAC0511-281 Linear Guided Stage. The rail length is 482mm and the full travel is 394mm. The lead of the screw is 10mm and the screw diameter is 11mm. There is a 5mm pitch timing pulley on the drive end and this is attached to a 6mm shaft. The carriage plate is 115mm X 90mm with threaded component mounting holes. The carriage rides on Rulon or Frelon bearings. And there is no measurable backlash or side play in this drive. This is the perfect head start component for a small lathe or bench top milling machine. The motor mount plate is stainless steel and all other components are aluminum. A few minor scratches but otherwise in very good condition.
