Requires a 30 to 50 amp(depending on how much output power you want) 48-50 V power supply. You could probably uses a lower voltage supply for lower output power. Ten-Tec Hercules II Model 420 1.8-30 MHz HF Linear Amplifier I originally purchased this used amplifier to install in a new F-350 FORD Dually pick-up truck. However as luck would have it when my truck finally arrived and I got it home and began installing radio gear I found it would not fit behind the rear seat. It seems that over the years the cabs have shrunk. It would have fit in my 1999 F-350 but not in the 2014 F-350 Platinum I had just purchased. So it is again for sale. It covers the full HF spectrum from 1.8-30 MHz and therefore is only available to GENERAL CLASS OR HIGHER licensed amateur radio operators. Here is what I know about the amplifier. The previous owner showed me that it was making 550 Watts PEP plus or minus the accuracy of his wattmeter on all bands from 1.8-30 MHz. I was not able to test the amplifier at my station ... moreas I don't have a power supply capable of the required current. 80 Amperes@ 13.8 Volts DC. Therefore I can only go off of what I saw on his equipment. However I have no reason to think his equipment was not working properly. With that being said I make no warranty of any kind on this amplifier. It is a used vintage amplifier and as I can not control how it will be used there are no returns. There a few scratches on the bottom and top of the amplifier as shown in the pictures. Please review the pictures carefully for any cosmetic details. Also included with the amplifier is a copy of the operator's manual and the DC Power cord. There are no other accessories included. Packaging.
