Gateway 2000 old classic pentium 1 computer 166 mhz 256 ram 2 gig hd
This old computer runs good but the battery on the mother board is missing and the clip is broke so I don't think another one can be installed. All it does is give a warning message(that you can see in picture#2) so you hit escape. Hit f10, and then hit enter and it loads like normal. As long as you keep the computer plugged in you don't even have to do that. You can also change the cmos settings to boot from the cd drive if desired. This computer has a fresh install of windows 98 and would make a good computer for playing old dos games. The floppy disk is a little"sticky" when it comes out of the disk drive. You kind of have to lift up on it a bit to get it to eject but otherwise it seems to work fine. This computer also has a usb port in the back. I installed a driver on the computer that allows a sandisk cruzer flash ... moredrive to be recognised by Windows 98 so if you happen to have one of those flash drives you can use it to transfer files to and from the computer as well as using the floppy drive or the CD drive.
