Up for sale is a Florida Pneumatic FP794L. Good, solid long anvil impact. Someone changed it to a 3/4 as I guess that is what sockets they had. It is a very neat job. This impact wants more air than I can give it, Designed for a 1/2 NPT fitting and a 5/8 or 3/4 hose. My 1/2 in hose with 3/8 NPT fitting didn't give it full power. I got 1000 ft pounds out of it. It is not all beat up either! Sure it has some scratches and wear, but for one of these it looks pretty good. See the pictures for the cosmetic condition. I use a Skidmore Wilhelm Torque tester. I tightened the 2 inch torque tester nut a couple times to 900 ft pounds with this impact. raised it to 1000 with another and used this one to remove it. I tested this with 105 PSI at the wall, with a 1/2 inch hose and a 3/8 NPT fitting. By the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI, or a hair higher. It is not all beat up either! Sure it has some scratches and wear, but for one of this vintage it looks pretty good. See the pictures for the cosmetic condition. Up for sale is a Aircat 1/2 inch drive 1000TH impact wrench. It has a show of use and performs well. It is tested to remove bolts torqued to 700 ft pounds. The limit of my torque tester. Chicago Pneumatic 3/4 in dr Torque Tested - 1000 Ft pd CP772 Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Chicago Pneumatic 3/4 inch drive impact wrench. CP772. It has a show of use and performs well. It is tested to remove bolts torqued to 1000 ft pounds. It had no trouble with those. tightens them to that torque too. It just takes longer. These are in my opinion by far the best 3/4 in drive impact for use with a 3/8 hose. They are designed for it. Most 3/4 in impacts lose about 2 to 300 ft pounds when used with a 3/8 hose. This will perform better with a 1/2 in hose but does fine with the 3/8! Ingersoll Rand 3/4 in dr IR258 -Torque Tested! 1000 Ft Pd! Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand IR258. This is one my favorite 3/4 impacts. Personally I prefer it to the IR259 that they make today. I put new hammer pins and a new cam in it. It works very well. I tightened the 2 inch torque tester nut a couple times to 1000 ft pounds. Then loosened it. It showed power to spare in reverse. I tested this with 105 PSI at the wall. By the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI, or a hair higher. It has some scratches and scuffs but looks pretty good. See the pictures for the cosmetic condition. Craftsman 3/4 In dr -Torque Tested - 1000 Ft pd -199850 - Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Craftsman 3/4 inch drive 199850 impact wrench. The Max Torque I got on the Torque tester was 1000 ft pds. To be honest I have never seen one of these come close to that. Maybe they made some changes? Of course I was using a 1/2 inch hose as I always do with 3/4 impacts. It has a light show of use and performs well. Pretty darned clean impact! This model as well as many other Craftsman impacts have CERAMIC BALLS as a silencing mechanism. They rattle when you move the impact this is normal and good. I have had bad feedback.
