Are you looking for a vintage electric guitar that is gig ready. Very well made, great looking. and a great bargain for a vintage electric guitar? Sounds like you're starvin' for this Carvin. There were plenty of guitars manufactured in the mid-1960s. More than plenty. Far too many. In fact. But very few of them were high-quality, durable, and highly playable guitars that were designed and built by folks who understood what a guitar was supposed to do. Quirky 60's guitars have become rather fashionable of late(probably because Fenders and Gibsons are so expensive) but I find that I don't have much of a taste for them. They seem awkward, or they are impossible to tune, or set-up. And, most times, they sound awful. You know the ones I'm talking about. I know you've been telling yourself it has a'distinctive' ... moresound. But really. The body and neck appear to have been supplied by Hofner. The hardwar e is high quality American made(Kluson. Bigsby. The pickups are Carv in. The gui tar appears to have been manufactured between 1965-70. This vintage Carvin is a real-deal. Full-fledged musical instrument. Plays great. Sounds great. It's ready to rock just as hard as it did in the 1960's. This guitar is in great shape. Used not abused. Standard finish checking. Vintage Bigsby(original to the guitar) installed. The decal is missing. No case is included with this guitar.

This auction is for a Rare Vintage Heathkit/ Harmony TG-46 Three-Pickup Electric Guitar for parts or repair. It includes the original case and the original assembly manual. I am selling this for the original owner who said he built it back around 1970. I am no expert and the guitar does show signs of wear but this looks pretty good for a 40+ year old guitar. If you want to see more pictures of the guitar just email me and ask I can take more and email them to you. The case has some paint spatter on it and the manual has some writing in it. I decided to try out a vintage noiseless set and I've pretty well stuck with that with some occasional variation ever since. I was holding on to them in case I might want to put them in another guitar sometime down the road, but I'm definitely not going to any time soon and I could really use the money right now(health problems) They're in great shape. 1950's Gibson p-90 pickup. Dogear version. pickup comes with original p-90 cover. this came into my shop several years ago with an old 50's les paul junior i had to do a headstock repair to. we ended up using another pickup and i had this one in my shop ever since. the bobbin up top had been broken, but i was able to glue it back together. also the lead wire on the pickup was no longer giving a good signal, so I replaced that section. Cost: $ 195– Info from National Guitars This dual-coil humbucking thinline pickup. Measuring.215” thick, is designed to be affixed to the top of a guitar at the end of the fretboard. You can route the lead wire inside or outside of the guitar body. The first mounting style is to affix the pickup using the ... moreprovided 3M® double-stick tape and route the wire outside of the guitar to the endpin. This mounting technique requires no modification to your instrument. The second mounting technique offers two options-run the lead wire through the soundhole inside the body. Or drills a 1/8” hole underneath the pickup and run the wire internally. In either case, the lead wire is then hardwired to the provided ¼” jack that must be permanently mounted in the desired location. This National Slimline pickup incorporates all of the best qualities of an extremely warm sounding humbucker. There are no marks that we can see but the wiring and the components certainly seem similar. Ne nicest thing about this assembly is the incredibly nice aging of the pick up covers. They both have 1 15/16" pole spacing so they will fit neck pickups from Gibson including BurstBuckers(which all have 1 15/16" spacing) and Bare Knuckle pickups. 1977-1980 DiMarzio Dual Sound Super Distortion Humbucker Pickup- Possible Repair
1977-1980 DiMarzio"Dual Sound" Super Distortion Pickup. Dual Sounds were the very first Super Distortion Pickups to feature 4-conductor wiring. Very good cosmetic condition with over a foot of the original 4-conductor black lead wire. Unfortunately we were unable to get a reading on the white/green wires so it seems that one of the coils isn't reading. The black and red wires fed back a dc resistance just under 7k- precisely what one coil should on this model. Usually a $100+ pickup we are starting the bidding low because of this potential issue. The original owner who had it installed in a 1970s L6-S played it for years not noticing that anything was wrong but it is important that we disclose that one of the coils may need to be repaired. Everything else checks out to the original specs- double rows of hex screws. Aria Pro II SB-R150 lined Fretless (2 pickup SB1000) post-Matsumoku very rare
up for auction is my much loved Aria Pro II SB-R150 bass. Factory lined fretless in a very rare orange color. This is one of the rarest, if not THE rarest of the Aria SB models and it took me forever to find one. I have held on to this for many years, never allowing it to leave the house so as to keep her in the same immaculate condition in which I found her. This is essentially the 2 pickup version of the flagship SB-1000. So it has the same amazing preamp with presets as you would find on the SB-1000 but this model has two pickups that can be blended by way of a three way switch. The bass is in dead mint condition and is a very subtly metallic Orange. The bass is absolutely stunning in person. I can't say enough about the finish. Which I have never seen before. For those you who follow the old Aria Pro IIs. You will know that this is ... moreone of the rarest models. It was only made for a year or so in the early 1980s. This bass however, is not from the early 80s. I believe it to be an even more rare re-issue from the late eighties/early nineties after the Matsumoku factory burned down and Aria moved production to its custom shop in Japan. As such all of the great Japanese build quality and old school nice touches are there, with some more modern"improvements" such as a more conventional bridge(the Matsumoku era basses had OEM brass bridges that were cool to look at, but broke lots of strings! Being from the SB-R series. This bass also has a more traditional(wider) string spacing than the straight SB series and has the same elliptical dot markers as with the originals. I am offering this with an opening bid of $799. The last SB-R150 I saw for sale went for twice that amount 7 years ago so don't let this get away. Shipping will be $45 in the continental US. I have been unable to find any information on this bass as to a model number. It appears to be a copy of a Zemaitis by the headstock shape. It plays great. the neck is very slim and comfortable. intonation and frets are good. Strings are recently replaced. The pickups are passive. Controls are three volumes so you can have any combination of pickups. There are some holes on the back where the strap button had been moved. There is a scratch on the front that was painted over.
