Thern vintage Chain Hoist, 1000 Lb, 10 foot lift, USA made
Thern Chain Hoist. Made in Winona Mn, model 31H3. Capacity is 1000 lbs. It appears to lift at least 10' based on hook spacing shown in photos, with about a 3' length left to pull with. The main sprocket is approx. 6.25" in diameter and the load sprocket is approx. 5.25" The hook openings are 1" and each sprocket has a grease zerk for lubing the main shafts, which I used them to lube them. The hoist pulls free in both directions, and holds the load. The chain appears to be in excellent condition. The spring loaded clips on the hooks work well and secure the load. Sells to continental US only due to its 30 lb. weight. Pls. advise if you have other questions.

I believe the brake assembly on the motor side is missing and the transformer is wired for 110v. Basically the 220v to 24v transformer in the unit was replaced with a 110v to 24v transformer to power the hand controls. This maybe the issue with this unit but I have not gotten deep enough into the wiring to diagnose it. Up operates perfect but down sticks sometimes as you can see in the video. This is a real nice CM Valuestar model WF 1/2 ton electric chain hoist. I took a lot of pictures of the hoist look at them all carefully to see how nice this is. This hoist has had very little use. The hooks are both almost untouched. There are no load marks and the paint is almost completely undamaged. The hoist runs just as it should. This is a 110 volt model so it is quite portable. The hoist requires only 14 1/4 inches of head room. Check the CM website for more information. As with any rigging equipment his hoist should be inspected and load tested by a competent person before being placed in service. The owners manual should also be downloaded and read carefully. Up for your consideration is a Yale air hoist. It has a roller chain with 10' of lift. A rocker switch for rope pull, and a swivel hook. It is in good working condition, but the tags have been damaged beyond the point of being readable, so I am not sure of the weight rating. Judging by the size, it is probably between 1/4 ton and 1 ton. Please ask any questions you might have. Make sure to look at the other tools and equipment that I currently have listed. chisholm moore hoist co. 1 ton chain hoist 30 foot lift.
Sale is for 1 chain hoist 2000 pound capacity. 30 foot lift. This hoist came from a major manufacture with it's own hoist maintenance department. This hoist was recently tested and any necessary repairs made. Any Chinese hoist is cheaper than this on but none have a 30 foot lift. The hand chain is only about 12 feet long so I don't know how this was used, maybe lifting from a pit? I'm including 11 feet of extra hand chain, you would have to weld or braze the links to add it on. There is 40 dollars on this listing for shipping.
