Original Fairbanks Morse 6hp Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Starting Crank Steam Tractor
This is a pretty hard to find original cast iron starting crank for a Fairbanks Morse 6hp Z gas engine. It is part number ZC14 and fits on a 2 1/4 inch crankshaft. It will work on any engine that it fits on but came from the factory with a 6hp Z. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs anywhere. The pawl for grabbing the keyway is in good shape needs a spring under it. It works the way it is, too. I believe springs are available from the hobby suppliers but would be pretty easy to make, too. These original cranks are VERY hard to find so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. They always make a restoration more complete and also make starting your engine easier! Old IHC Famous Titan Webster JZ Hit Miss Gas Engine Antique Motor Steam HOT!!
This is a pretty nice original Webster Type JZ oscillating magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. It has several applications in the gas engine world. Most notably these were used on International Harvester vertical Famous and Titan engines and also the 2 1/2hp horizontal Famous and Titans. It is in good used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The original mounting studs are in the holes. The threads aren't perfect but they are pretty good and will tighten down alright. You could always set the studs with some space age adhesive to be certain. It has some very mild wear in the bearings and will run for a very long time. The original brass name band is on it and has a few dings but nothing serious. It is missing the leadout cover but I believe these are available from the hobby suppliers. It mounts to the ignitor bracket on ... morea 2 3/16 x 2 13/16 inch bolt pattern. The body is in excellent condition unlike some of them that you see. The magnet have just been recharged. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The trip finger is in excellent condition with VERY little wear. This trip finger would be for the horizontal engines and would need to be changed for the verticals as they trip from the bottom. These big Webster magnetos, especially the JZ, are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. Original Bosch AB33 Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Steam HOT!!
This is a pretty nice original Bosch AB33 trip magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. These were commonly used on some of the Fairbanks Morse Z engines and may have been used on others. This magneto has been checked over and adjusted. The magnets have been charged. It puts out a hot. Fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. It mounts to the engine on a 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 inch bolt pattern. The mounting threads are in great shape. It has the original brass locating pins in it yet for the Fairbanks Morse application. It has short trip finger on it which could easily be switched if your application calls for the long arm. The original points cover is on it. The cover has some wear but is still pretty nice. There is no noticeable wear in the bearings of the magneto. It has the factory safety wiring on it yet but was ... moreremoved to access the magnets for recharging. The original leadout has been chipped as has the wire nut but still work ok. These magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets. 4" Diameter Crosby 3 Chime Steam Engine Whistle With Built In Valve / Traction
Please read full description before bidding. Here is a 4" Diameter Crosby 3 Chime Steam Whistle. The bell measures 4" wide and 8 3/8" tall. Overall height of the whistle is 14 3/4" It has a 1" connecting hex inlet. The chambers measure 7 7/8" 6 1/2" and 5 1/4" to the top of the bowl. On the side of the bowl it reads Crosby Steam Gage& Valve Co. Boston US Pat Jan 30 1877. It weighs 10 pounds 8oz. The valve has been brazed all the way around just above the connecting hex nut, and inside one of the chambers. Also it has a flat spot at the top of the bell which will not effect it from working because it is closed off and made like a step top on the inside. I did fill the valve up with water and it did not leak a drop, so the inside valve should seat well under pressure. 1941 Continental W-670 Radial Engine Bar Table WWII Art Deco Warbird Vintage USN
One of a kind! This is a bar table constructed from a repurposed 1941 Continental Aircraft W-670 7-cylinder Radial Engine. The Date on the Data tag is 2-41. With a US NAVY acceptance stamp. The feet on the bottom of the legs are Cessna 150 pistons, that pivot in case your floor is uneven. There is a Continental 0-470 piston in the prop shaft hole in the nose case as filler, and for style. The glass tabletop is securely supported by rubber tipped tubes attached to genuine aircraft sparkplugs screwed into the spark plug holes. The glass can therefore be leveled by turning the sparkplugs. This engine was last on a 1938 Waco Biplane. The legs can be unbolted from the bottom of the cylinders, and disassembled. The components case halves and cylinders were bead blasted, primed, and painted with several coats. The internals have been removed to ... morereduce weight. It's already approx. 350 lbs. It was tested against unintentional knock-over by simulated drunks. And stayed upright and stable. It is currently on display at my friend's antique shop in Sebring.
