Old sailing ship wooden block with attached rigging. This wood pulley is attached to a line of twisted brass wires. This brass cable is attached to an iron shackle with an iron pin. The pin holds an iron hook that swivels open and closed on this pin. The overall length is 12 inches(30.5 cm) The wood pulley is 4 inches(10 cm) long. Double-Parallel Pulley with Rigging,Plastic, 2 1/2"
The pulleys on these are plastic but I'm not sure about the rigging.They are possibly some sort of light metal-maybe zinc. The wheels are black and the rigging is chrome color. Wheels measure 2 1/2" across and are 1/2" wide each with about a 3/16" gap between the two for an overall width of about 1 1/4" The chrome part is 1 3/4" across and the overall height(wheels + chrome) is 3 3/8" The opening in the chrome rigging part is 3/4" X 1/2" These appear to be in great condition but I don't know for sure if they have been used or not. They may have some dust on them from storage. These are loose and not in packaging. I do not know how much weight they are rated for although they seem pretty sturdy for plastic. Vintage early PG&E gas company large antique rigging pulley hoist
Very old antigue pulley hoist marked"PG&E" Pacific Gas& Electric company) This pulley is pretty big. And is made of wood and steel. It is in very condition, and opens on one side to allow for the rope to load. I am not sure of the age, but i believe it to be very early based on the fact that it is made of wood and not all steel. This item came from the estate of an elderly neighbor who passed recently. He was an engineer, a machinist ad I believe he also worked for PG&E at some point. Shipping will be $16 due to the size.
