This Auction is for a complete set of rare Crosby wooden double pulley block& tackle with rope. Im guessing there is at least a 100+ foot of rope. I haven't measured it or tested other than playing with the hooks and pulleys to make sure they moved and were tight like they should be. And I'm not a expert but it worked like I would think it should. Even better for its age. It looks like this set of rope and pulleys have many more years of use! This was my Dads and hasn't been used in at least 14 years. I am offering a vintage Scoter Drake Decoy from Nova Scotia. Canada. I purchased it from a reputable dealer who said it was from the 1930's. It appears to have original paint and original rigging consistant with rigging found on Nova Scotia Decoys. The Decoy appears structurally sound. The head moves 1/4" right to left but it is firmly attached to the body. The Decoy has a stress crack from continued use in brackish or salt water on the bottom but the crack does not appear to undermine the structural integrity of this finely constructed vintage Decoy. Vintage Wooden Pond Boat Sail Boat Ship W/ Rare Crocheted Net Rigging
Ship is all handmade. Not from a kit. Hull is 22"L. 7 1/2" W. and 5"H. keel to deck. Weights 8lbs. The main mast is 13"L. The masts are fairly new and have round head screws on the top to hold down rigging. The railing on the stern, tiller and the rest of the metal hardware were hand formed. The tiller works, but the part of the rudder that went into the keel is missing. The crows nest is a metal cap that was painted black. The net rigging for the main mast is 30"L and was hand crocheted. Rigging has darkened with age, but is intact and was very nicely done. The keel assembly was attached to the hull and has some metal plate down inside the keel. Not sure as to its age. I picked this harness up at an estate sale in Northwest Wyoming. It has a true one-of-a-kind with experienced patina and wear marks. There are a multitude of straps. Buckles, hinges, rings and loops on this harness. As with any authentically worn ranching apparatus, there were times when a piece may have broken or fallen off with wear and the most suitable piece of material was used for repair. As that is the case, there is a place on here where a pin must have fallen out and the rancher fashioned a twisted metal loop to replace said part– neat to imagine them going into the barn or tack shed and looking around for a suitable replacement part and that piece ending up on this piece! please see the twisted wire pin that was fashioned) The metal part of the harness measures approximately 29” tall. Huge 16-1/2" Shackle Hoists Winches Rigging 55ton + 2-3/4" Screw Pin Crosby?
Hi I think this is a construction or rigging shackle as that is the information I can find about it. I have not found a name on it but looked up the largest one on the Crosby sight and the largest one they had was a 55 ton 2-1/2 inch shaft(this one is almost 3" for the pin) for about $800.00 and theirs weighted 55 pounds(this one is about 75-80#s)so this is a little bigger then that. This is about 16-1/2 to 17" inches long. Some dings from being used but in good working order. The screw pin goes in and out as it should. This is a really big shackle and weights about 80 pounds all together. I will have to ship these seperate as I am over the limit(70pounds) for the weight at the post office. Leatherman wave lot stanley quick slide knife and rope rigging knife multi tool
This is a lot of used multi tools. The leatherman wave is in good gondition and has 17 tools- knife. Saw, diamond file, mini screw drivers, and many other tools the stanly utility knife has a razor blade on one side and a 3 1/2 blade on the other. The rope/ rigging knife has a blade and rope rigging tools too. This is in good used condition with no problems I can see the teeth on the gripper are still good, the spring is still good, this unit again is used and shows some scuffs overall.
