Heavy Duty Gantry Crane (overhead hoist)
This overhead hoist was built for me by a metal fab company so I could lift the body of the frame of my car. It is all steel and very heavy duty. The dimensions are as follows; Overhead Cross Beam is 10 feet long. 12 inches tall, and 4 inches wide. The uprights are 10 feet tall and are 4 inches square beam 1/4 inch thick. The base I Beams are 8 Feet long, 8 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. The trolley is 1 ton, with a 1 ton chain hoist. The assemby rolls on 4 casters that are 6 inches tall and has brakes. I added reinforcements in the upper corners that bolt to the cross beam and uprights. Also supported by 5/16 cable and large turnbuckles for even more support. This crane weighs approximately 1,000 lbs. Can be assembled in one hour with two people.

This is a traverse trolley gear box that mounts directly to the elect. motor the cast in no. on box is 24 05723 701 also in a raised cast area is 1/ 27G that may be the ratio. The gear on output shaft has 17 teeth. The box operates smoothly. I did open and inspect the secondary shaft has some wear on the spiral gear but all other gears and bearings are in good shape. There are no cracks or wobbled out holes or wear spots. This was on a top running 10ton two beam crane. The keyway on the output shaft is in excellent shape. The spiral gear can be replaced. And box would be flawless. A rebuilt box sells for $1200.00

It has a 50' Span and two 100' rails. originally it was purchased as a 25' lift, due to a low ceiling eve height(25' it at present is set up for 16ft. lift and there is 8 wraps of cable still on the spools. We have contacted a local crane rigger and should be able to price the rigging onto your flatbed truck. You as the buyer are responsible for its' removal. the seller would like to use it till the end of August. you must use a qualified crane rigger with insurance to remove it.
