THIS IS A U.S.A. AUCTION ONLY! NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS! WILL SHIP TO LOWER 48 STATES ONLY! This is a 1970s Pearl"chrome over brass" 5x14" ten lug snare drum. If you look in the mid seventies pearl catalog you will see that this drum was offered in steel and brass. There are a few of these around. Sounds like similar to a Ludwig Supraphonic. Some pitting on the throwoff but overall its in very good condition and even has its original snare wires. Has been kept in good factory condition and its a very solid and nice sounding drum. Sold as/is with no returns unless I so badly misrepresent an item. Shipping is. 20.00 in the lower 48 states.

Up for bid is a lightly used 6.5x14 PDP Acrylic Snare Drum with black hoops. Black lugs, and a black strainer/butt plate. This drum is in near perfect condition with NO cracks or pitting whatsoever. All of the parts, including the heads, are original. This snare sounds like a gunshot, it's literally one of the loudest snares I've ever heard. I'm selling the item because I don't play out as much as I used to, and I don't need it. Mapex Floor Tom Tom 12" x 10" Black V Series 6 Lug Mapex 12" diameter by 10" depth floor tom with three floor tom legs in good condition: no gouges in shell. No deep scratches(no noticeable scratches) no separation of wrap, inside of shell is good, bearing edges are good, no stripped threads, etc. Mapex/Remo clear heads on top and bottom are still good/some wear. Bottom head has some tape residue. The heads will need changing in the not too distant future. The black finish is in good condition with no noticeable flaws. The badge has a little tear(see photo) It's not too bad and this drum looks fine, dare I say excellent, from a few feet away. This a great little floor tom that was used as a left side/utility tom on the side of my hihat as part of a practice kit. I'd say it's about a year and a half to two years ... moreold. It hasn't been used in several months as I've gotten rid of the rest of the practice kit. I hate to see it go but I have no use for it now as I have more drums than I need or can store. Pearl Sensitone "Elite" 5.5 x 14 10 Lug Steel Shell Snare Drum. Custom Alloy.
Up for bids is a Pearl Sensitone steel snare drum. 14" in diameter and 5.5" deep. It's a 10-lug model with 2.3 mm Super Hoops. The badge says"Custom Alloy" but it is identical to the beaded steel Sensitone Elite. Both heads were replaced within the last month and have plenty of life left. The drum itself is in very good condition. It has some small cosmetic imperfections(light pitting on the lugs, some rust on the tension rods, and a couple of small scratches here and there) but overall the drum looks, sounds, and tunes-up great! International bidders are welcomed! However I cannot falsify customs values. This auction starts at 99 cents with NO RESERVE. So somebody will get it for a song!

Late 70's / 1980 Ludwig 6.5" Supraphonic Snare Drum 10 Lug 6.5 x 14 The Tone.
This drum has lived in the studio for 20 plus years. IT IS an astounding sounding snare. By far the#1 for so many huge Detroit records. It came to me from another famous room here in Detroit and I had to sell part of my soul to get it off the guy. It's very hard to sell this but it's also a shame to let it sit now that I'm not producing. This snare has no weaknesses and sounds so Bohnam, tunable to the higher pitched throaty or the fatter guts, the complete range and you set a mic anywhere within 6 feet of this puppy and you have 50% of your record nearly done. It is a late 70's/1980 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum in good condition. Measures 6.5" by 14" Serial# 2140xxx dates it at a'78 or'80. The worst pitting is around the strainer as pictured but the rest is minor. Aftermarket snares. Overall it's in ... moregood shape. Totally in the round, no dents or drops. I shot it honestly and it looks better than the photos. There is some tape residue on the inside from an attemp at a dead funk disco sound. Professionally packed and open to the safe international shipping destinations(sorry to some of those country's that ebay lumps in with'Europe' As a seller my hands are tied- basically to be open to Sweden and France, I have to be open to Italy and Russia, utterly ridiculous. Please inform me if there is a way around that cunundrum) This is the type of drum for a rock or modern drummer that will be your#1 and be with you. Raking in cash, for evermore.

This is as good a set as money can buy. These were the gold standard in the 90's. Better than DW. One of the first true custom drum builders to make it big. Beautiful 8 ply maple shells without reinforcing hoops. The result is a very pure open melodic sound with great projection. Finish is a bright transparent blue with chrome over brass hardware. Sizes are 16x22 bass drum. 10x10 and 10x12 rack toms, 12x14 and 14x16 hangin floor toms. These drums have been played for years and show wear but no abuse. Some scratches on the bass drum and light surface rust on a few hoops are the worst damage. Badges have discolored a little but new ones could be purchased from GMS is so desired. Also included two yamaha stands. All drums have RIMS mounts with Yamaha mounts. Buyer pays shipping of $150 in the US. Would consider other high end drums on trade.

Vintage Premier HiFi Snare-14"x5.5"/CoA/Ten lug
Here for sale we have a very nice Premier HiFi snare drum. It dates to around 1967/8. The company's golden era. 14"x5.5" Chrome over Aluminium shell with a minimal snare bed. It features ten Sydney Opera House style lugs. Cast hoops, classic throw/butt, damper and all 16 slot headed T bolts plus block badge. I have fitted it with a brand new phosphor bronze 20 strand snare wire, it has a used Everplay to the resonant and used Pinstripe coated to the batter. This snare does show minor micro pitting to the chromework of the lugs and hoops. The shell however has suffered no plating loss. It is scratched but not dented. Given the blindingly bright overall effect of this drum I would have to say these faults are only ever going to be noticeable on extremely close inspection. Try saying that about a similarly ancient Ludwig 400! See ... morethe pictures and judge for yourselves. Worldwide shipping is available. Up for auction is a rare collectors find. 1) 1969 Ludwig Jazz Combo snare drum! 13"x3" actually 3-1/2" deep) 6-lug(piccolo style) Date stamped: Jan/31/1969 Badge: Serial# 676801 This 1969 Ludwig Jazz Combo snare drum(Model No. 905L) has been restored to playing condition using only the parts that were on it when I bought it. With exception of the heads which are brand new. I will also provide photos of the drum as it looked prior to. and during) the refurbishing process upon request. Originally offered by the Ludwig company for only $55.00 in 1969. The last"Jazz Combo" snare drums were officially made for only a few more years. Making this a much sought after collectible. Very few Jazz Combo snare drums have been found without the paint on the inside of the shell. Drum shell: The shell is 3 ply maple/poplar w/reinforcement ... morerings and is in great condition. nice and round) The bearing edges are clean and smooth. And still in original condition. The inside of the shell is clean. 1969 Ludwig stopped painting the insides white) and the outside is the original"Gold Silk" lacquer.Finish No. 8026. 1969 being the First year available for this color per Ludwig's catalogs. There are many small cracks. And a few chips in the lacquer finish, but no dents or dings in the shell. Many Jazz Combo snare shells are shown to have worn oval holes where the lug attaches to the shell. This drum does not suffer from that problem. Rims: The COS(chrome over steel) rims are in good condition. I've removed all of the paint and as much rust as possible without adversely affecting the plating's finish. This auction is for a 1960's Slingerland 8 Lug 5.5x14 Haskell W. Harr Model Parade Snare Drum serial number 62108. In very good condition with a Dark Blue Sparkle finish. From the 1960's It has a three ply maple shell with a Zoomatic Strainer. It has chrome over brass hoops, top and bottom and original Slingerland snares wires, original tone control, the heads are very serviceable. The chrome is very shiny and flawless, the blue finish has a tight seam it’s not perfect after field use, many scratches and digs(see photo) This is a great 45 year old snare sound on the field or off.
