You're looking at 2 adaptor cables used for connecting vintage and reissued pro audio gear which use barrier strips. They are built using Canare Star QuadL-4E6S audio cable and Neutrik Gold XLR"s. These cables are great for making connections to standard XLR gear from UREI and Universal Audio LA2A’S. LA3A’S, and 1176’s, Pultec Tube EQ's and other 60’s to 80’s tube gear and solid state units with screw terminals. The lugs are#6 and terminated using WBT Silver Solder. 1 termination resistor is included for proper matching older 600 ohm gear. The length of these can be modified to your specs if you wish. This auction is for a 1960's Slingerland 8 Lug 5.5x14 Haskell W. Harr Model Parade Snare Drum serial number 62108. In very good condition with a Dark Blue Sparkle finish. From the 1960's It has a three ply maple shell with a Zoomatic Strainer. It has chrome over brass hoops, top and bottom and original Slingerland snares wires, original tone control, the heads are very serviceable. The chrome is very shiny and flawless, the blue finish has a tight seam it’s not perfect after field use, many scratches and digs(see photo) This is a great 45 year old snare sound on the field or off. This auction is for a three piece lot o f Color Flyte melmac dishes. Made by Branchell, in St. Louis, Missouri. These were designed by Kaye LaMoyne. The pieces are three 6" lug handle bowl s. They are in the classic mottled colors known as Mist Gray. Glow Copper, and Spray Lime. Two of these have the Color Flyte backstamp, and one has the regular Branchell backstamp. Professor Melmac" is here to keep you informed! LOL) I don`t want you to be surprised by ANY defects not noted in the description. So the description may be a bit"wordy" but it is informative. Read on, read on! NOTE on GROUPING: I recently bought four pretty good sized groups of mel mac. Containing about 200 pieces of Color Flyte and Residential. It cost right at $300 for all four plus the shipping. Plus I had to clean about two hundred dishes. I only needed ... morethirteen pieces out of all of that. But I felt like as long as the dishes showed up in good shape then I c ou ld get close to all of my money back by selling what I didn`t need. When the first two Color Flyte groups arrived. They were in about the condition I was expecting. And I started writing auction descriptions to run several large groups ranging in price from $30 to $60. RUSSEL WRIGHT Steubenville AMERICAN MODERN Chartreuse Lug Fruit Bowl 6 1/8 inch
This bowl measures approximately 6 1/8 x 5 1/4 inches across the top including the handle and about 1 1/2 inches tall/deep. It is made of pottery with a chartreuse glaze in Russell's Wright's American Modern pattern for Steubenville. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare. The underside of the bowl has a mark similar to that shown in the photos below. This bowl is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, stains, etc. As seems to be typical for this pattern and color, the glaze is slightly splotchy. There is some uniform, completely colorless crazing- what little there may be, is the type of thing that's best seen when the piece is held at the right angle in a strong light but isn't readily noticeable under normal conditions. Apothecary Bottle c 1870. 9 1/2" Blown Glass, LUG(Label Under Glass) F.E.JALAPÆ(Label Under Glass) FLUIDEXTRACTUM JALAPÆ. A Cathartic(Laxative) It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the ground glass stopper by 2 3/4" wide at the base. The thumbprint top was made wth a large shapely bubble of air in the center section, and the indents are sharply cut. There is a pontil mark on the base. The Bottle is Crystal Clear in excellent condition and the glass label is in good condition. Beautiful Gretsch early 60s Vintage 5.5x14 Snare Drum Beautiful drum! This one was very well cared for. From a smoke-free home. The original White Marine Pearl on this beauty is absolutely gorgeous! Glossy and looks amazing! The seam is down tight. There's hairline splitting right at the seam. You have to look very closely to see anything. Not noticeable unless you're holding the drum up close and inspecting that area. See last pic. 6-Ply shell. Shell is in round and modern heads fit on easily. You don't have to struggle to get heads on this one. The bearing edges and snare bed were smoothed by expert Nodar Rode of the Manhattan Drum Shop. He does amazing work. Look him up on the web. 32 Vintage 60's 70's Lug screws and washers Lug screws in good shape. These are the bigger of 2 sizes I have to sell. The washer is 3/4" diameter. The screw behind the washer is 1/2" long. Not sure if these are Ludwig or Slingerland. I will try to determine that, and add it to the text. This and the other vintage drum hardware I'm listing are from Jay Burrid. Up for auction is a bit of a hybrid snare drum- a mix of the 70's and 90's. With new die cast throw off and butt plate added. It consists mainly of a 70's Tama Crystar(Acrylic- same shell as tubular Octabon drums) shell teamed up with(10) 90's era Mapex single node tube lugs. For minimal contact. If you do a little research, you'll see that Tama only made Crystar series drums for one or two years(1974/1975) This makes this snare more unusual and interesting as compared to the classic Ludwigs and newer acrylic snares you see on the market today. There are a few superficial scratches. But nothing unappealing. This drum started out life as a clear 14" concert tom and is about 38 years old. Bearing edges are smooth and sharp. Snare beds are hand-applied with care to allow the snare wires to seat properly. And lastly. ... morethere are no cracks, splits or ugliness to contend with here. The factory seam is nice and tight- no cracks; no repair. Just a nice looking drum you can see through, and of course, play! This is a great snare if you want something with some volume and a different voice over wood or metal. In fact. Its comparable to a metal snare more than maple, birch or aluminum. Come and get this very cool looking and sounding snare while its still available. Its unique. Its been carefully made by hand and it is ready to add some color to any drum kit. Lastly. Vintage Leedy 14 X 6 1920's Slingerland Snare Drum Percussion Antique Tube Lug
This drum is from around 1928. I think that Leedy owned slingerland and r e a d somewhere that the leedy stamp can be on the hoop. This drum has the Slingerland cloud badge with a Leedy stamp on hoop. Everything looks original including a very vintage same era sna ppi snare strainer. Beautiful mahogany woo d. Very nice tube lugs, lar ger than usual. The throw off lever is broken off but the t hrow still raises or lowers the strain er b y turning the s crew left or right. A cou ple tension clips are not original to the drum but are from an original leedy snare drum from the late 19 20's. Incredible sounding snare. Love the tone and beauty. The body itself is 6 inche s but wi th the hoops stand s 7 1/2 inches in height. Int e resting d rum. Looks nice. It look s like it was refin ished the wood part. But was done nicely. Here is a vintage Egg-Lug salmon egg dispenser made by Ewing Products in Burbank CA- prior to being acquired by Luhr Jensen and Son's of Hood River. Oregon. The dispenser fits on your belt and the 2 oz. egg jar screws onto the lid- then you can lift the lid and get out the salmon eggs without having to unscrew the top every time. It also has a place to put the salmon egg jar's lid on top so you can see which type of eggs are inside- and a small metal lance on the side to spear out an egg when you need it.
