Teledyne Mckay 5/8 Alloy Chain Sling 12 ft Hoist Lifting Tow Recovery Rigging
Up for bids is a good used Teledyne Mckay 5/8" Grade 80 Alloy chain sling. The Reach is 12 ft 4 in to the master link and 12 ft 11 in to the grab hook on the master link. This was originally a 30 ft sling but was shortened to 12 ft and a Herc-Alloy Grade 80 Clevlok sling hook for 5/8 chain size was added. The 30 ft is still showing on the tag. The chain was much to long and heavy to sell that way. This is a rare to find sling with the factory installed 5/8 in grab hook on the master link. When the grab hook is not needed it can slide around the master link out of the way. I made the chain as long as I could and still be able to stay under the USPS 70 lb limit. The chain weighs 65 lb in the large flat rate box. Most slings like this are 10 ft reach so I figured someone might need the extra 3 ft. The sling is rated at working load limit ... moreof 16.500 lb. Up for auction is a used. Good working stainless steel chain hoist made by David Round& Son, Inc. Built in 2007. 2 hp motor with 10 ft of chain and remote control. I do not see a weight rating on this unit but I would assume it will pick up atleast 1000 lbs- possibly as much as 2000 lbs. It is custom built out of stainless steel and came from a pharmaceutical company that downsized. It is set up with rollers to be mounted on a 4-6" I beam. This mount can be easily removed so that you can mount your own system. Comes as shown in the picture. Item will have to ship freight. It weighs about 300 lbs. Will palletize and load free of charge. Circa 1800 bronze oil lamp with hanging hook. The hanging hook is attached to a small wire chain that runs through back support piece/handle and attaches to the lid. Has nice patina and wear. With some greenish oxidation. The total hanging length, from top of hook to bottom of oil pot is 9 inches. The hanging hook by itself is 4 5/8 inches long. The oil pot measures 4 inches from the tip of the spout to the opposite side, is 2 inches high with the lid, and has a 2 1/2 inch diameter at the widest point.
