The blades were in storage and the packaging has some soiling. The blades should still be good inside judging by the one out of the package. The blades measure 21 5/8" in overall length(20 7/8" eye to eye) The measurements were taken with a tape so the measurements may be a fraction off. We have a Hook Eye storage tube we will be including with the blades.The can is dented and shorter then the blades but still works to keep them together.Be careful with these blades they are very sharp. It's certainly unlike any I've ever seen and the amount of detail is amazing. A real treasure to be sure! The entire hook measures 3.5cm x.08cm. Or 3.5" x.5" approximately. It remains in excellent condition even though it is from the early 1880's. It hails from France. These were commonly carved by fishermen or whalers as a way to make money once they landed in port. This natural material should be oiled every year and it's been over 30 years since it has been done, but I'll leave that to the new owner. This item was in my grandparents estate.
