Here is a vintage Dillon chain hoist Patented DEC.19 th 1905. Made in Sterling Ill. This hoist has a 24' long handle that has a bend and a crack in metal midway down the handle. Handle works OK as is and is still very rigid. I see a number 3 at the top of the handle that I would guess is the size. Have been told from a fellow ebayer that this is a fence wire stretcher. Have also been told that its a come-a- long. This item would have many applications back in the day or even today. This is a working hoist with some chain that is not included.
