This 282 starts good.but there is a process with the 282,brakes work tranny has a high gear,backhoe is loosely goosey and worn but the 5000 dollar rear pin setup is perfect see pic,yes the hoe and outriggers will need some tlc and a hose here and there,front bucket is ok but I'm sure it has loose pins also. Allison auto is good and strong,wiring is fair but who cares,has an electric fan. Wear plate on front bucket is not new but in good shape& teeth on 24" rear bucket are also in good shape. Fuel gauge works along with rpm& hour meter. All pins are good& just had steering cylinder rebuilt a month ago. John Deere Industrial 500a 500 Series A backhoe ( 3020 tractor )
1969 John Deere 500a backhoe for repair or parts. It has the Diesel Engine and PowerShift transmission. This is basically the same as a Deere 3020 tractor but with backhoe hydraulics. The engine starts. Runs and idles great but recently the hydraulics slowed down and stopped. At the same time it stopped moving. I changed the hydraulic fluid but this is the extent of my mechanical knowledge and ability. May be something small or not? In the past 2 years had new injectors, new starter, rebuilt main hydraulic pump and new batteries. Oil was changed recently with hydraulic fluid. Runs and operates, transmission, hydraulics, loader bucket, digging bucket, etc. all work properly. Unit was purchased new by a local government agency(county) was used by them within the county since new, we purchased it directly from them several weeks ago, not from a dealer or auction directly from the county, currently have no use for an older loader backhoe so turning it into cash. The county sold the unit because it was replaced with a new one, before they sold the backhoe it sat idle not being used at the county barn for about 2 years! 1998 Case 580 Super L Series 2 For your consideration. Is a Case 580 Super L Series 2 loader backhoe. We bought this machine from our case dealer in 2001 with roughly 1,800 hours on it. It was in there rental fleet, but in 1998 we had the machine on snow lease when it was brand new, and then also had it rented most of the time until we purchased it. It only has 3,723 hours on it now, which is really good for this age. It is a very well functioning machine and everything works as it should. Its equipped with a power shift trans, so no more shifting gears with a lever. This is a very nice and expensive option. Also it has the extenda-hoe option, which comes in handy so you don't have to always move. Also ride control that does work. There is a radio for dull moments. The tires are in very good shape as you can see in the picture. They have ... moreless than 300 hours on them since they were put on. We put new batteries in December 2013. It has been fleet maintained its whole life, has been very well taken care of and has gotten anything it has needed. There are no leaks on this machine. Selling my Massey Ferguson model 30 diesel Backhoe. Perkins diesel engine was completely overhauled three years ago with a new clutch. Machine runs like new. Hi and low range transmission. Machine is extremely strong. I have lifted cars with the front loader. Tires all hold air rears are a little dry rotted. Been the most reliable machine I have had.The small cylinder for the power steering does leak and could use a repacking. I never fixed it because with the counter weight of the backhoe you don't really need it. Brakes work very good. It does have a three-point hitch and a PTO I do not have the arms for the three point but they are easy to get if needed. The backhoe is frame mounted but easy removable with quick disconnects. John Deere 110 TLB Tractor, Loader, 4X4 Backhoe, Diesel, MUST SEE! No Reserve,AZ
2003 John Deere 110 TLB in GREAT condition. Privately owned machine- NOT a rental or a construction tractor. Bought originally at RDO Equipment in Southern CA, and was used in an orchard, then came to Southern AZ and has been a ranch tractor, so it hasn't had heavy use, no bends, broken welds/weld repairs, etc- this machine has had a very easy life. This is the handiest tractor ever made in my opinion, it's big enough to do anything I've ever needed, but you can still haul it with a 3/4 ton pick-up on a 20' trailer. The backhoe is easily removed and you can add lOTS of other attachments, it has a 3-point hook-up, and rear PTO so you can throw a gannon on it, brush hog, etc. It's four wheel drive and has a hydrostatic transmission, VERY easy to operate. I do NOT know the actual hours on it. The hour meter is digital, it ... morehas always lit up and comes on, but reads 28 hours, and has for years according to the previous owner. Between myself, the previous owner, and the shop that has done repair/maintenance on it- the"estimated" hours on it are somewhere around 3000-3500, that's just our best guess though. It is a VERY reliable machine, starts/runs/operates as it should. I have receipts for the most recent maintenance(fluids, filters, etc were just changed on 7-31-14) and a major service was done on 8-15-14(cost was over $3600) and they went through it and checked operations afterward, it performed to spec and is ready to go to work. It has a 6 foot 6 Way dozer blade on the front of the machine. It has an A420 backhoe attachment with a 29 inch wide bucket. It has a H850 vibratory plow attachment with a 36 inch blade. The trenching attachment measures 8 foot from the tip gear to the tip of the idler wheel and has a frost/ rock chain with carbide tips. It weighs 14680 pounds. the tire size is 38 by 18.00- 20 NHS and all 4 tires are about 90% tread depth. This machine has front and rear axle steering. This is an early to mid eighties case 480D backhoe loader with extendahoe. It runs great. Nice and strong. The injector pump and starter are a little over a year old. I've owned this machine for around nine years. Some rams seals have been replaced. As of now. 2 rams leak. Kits are 50.00$. It has all glass. It drives fine in all 4 gears. All controls operate fine. The power steering leaks somewhere but not at the pump. The side engine covers are missing. I never had them.The left side brakes work fine. The right side does not. 1994 JCB 217 4x4 turbo backhoe
Very heavy duty machine that worked fine until recently. Got water in the lower crankcase- likely through the intake filter during a heavy rain storm. Didn't figure it out until it went to start it and it was seized up. Water is clear- not milky or antifreeze. Perkins diesel engine lower end will need rebuild- upper end is likely fine as the dipstick still shows clean oil. No longer need the machine and it is out of my league to do it myself. Owners manual and complete parts diagram books included. Must be hauled by buyer within 2 weeks. On Sep-09-14 at 03:35:20 PDT. This tractor came off of a local farm where it has been for the last 20 years that owner bought it from the original owner which was about 30 miles from there, it is original and has never been painted, it is running in the photos and runs and operates very good, the paint is original sheetmetal is near perfect you amy find a ding but you would have to really look for one, has a very good running 62 HP gas motor, no smoke, tractor has factory power steering which works with one finger, the loader is fully hydraulic and works very good, the bucket is 5 foot and has some rust on the inner bottom, it will last for years as is or you can add a plate to the inside to reinforce it, the rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 60% Firestone 14.9/24 and in good condition, engine starts ... moregood no smoke and good oil pressure, the clutch and transmission both work very good, it is a four speed with reverse, the left brake works 100% the right brake works 50% it comes with a rear hydraulic backhoe attachment, I am not sure how long backhoe has been on but I do know it was on for the last 20 years, it was just used for digging out some rocks three weeks ago as you can see the bucket still has dirt in it, it also has a good trenching bucket with it, has down riggers, the hydraulics do work well they are not jerky and are smooth, every thing works on this backhoe tractor, it is ready to go to work, look the photos over and ask questions if needed, it is a really nice unit, runs and operates very good, if you are looking for a little backhoe or loader tractor this is a nice one and is selling NO RESERVE.
