P-123, P-124, and P-130; the crank is marked P-121. This all-iron tool appears to be in good working condition. We mounted it for photography and see that, when cranked, the gears move freely and the stone moves up and down as expected. The sharpening stone centers itself during the sharpening process. The tool appears in good used condition with surface rust consistent with age and use. Overall dimensions are: 17 x 9 x 12 inches. Gasoline Engines(Type"LA" Equipped with IHC Type"H-1" Magneto. Presented by International Harvester Company 180 North Michigan Ave. Chicago Illinois. U. S. A. The identity of this manual is MC-D 5043. 2-10-41(which I believe is the printing date) 10B. The manual measures 6 1/2 inches left to right and 9 1/2 inches top to bottom and contains 9 sheets which includes the covers. The content of this manual are: Front Cover as seen in first picture of this listing. Specifications pages 2& 3, Lubrication pages ... more3, Starting the Engine page 4, 5, 6, Magneto(IHC TYPE H-1) page 7& 8, and a blank sheet for the back cover. The manual is in nice condition with some small slight pressure indentations in the paper covers and some age yellowing especially on the covers and the edges. There is a slight crease vertically toward the right side of the manual as can be seen in the front cover picture. The pages are staple bound and all are tight and stable while the staples are slightly rusted as would be expected from humidity. The manual is free of writing or other markings and the covers show some friction smudges but the manual is free of any grease smudges. This is a great ORIGINAL(not a reprint) piece of Ephemera from the past issued by International Harvester Co. and would be a real asset to the owner of one of these engines or even as a collection piece so bid now! Old McCORMICK DEERING Antique Hit& Miss Stationary Engine Special Tool. Great to display with your vintage engine tool kit at engine shows. A special tool for removal and installation of the connecting rod bolts on McCormick Deering single cylinder gas engines and others that have an enclosed crankcase. The tool is a forging with a square shank and a 5/8 inch socket opening on one end and 11/16 socket on the other. Use an adjustable wrench on the square shank to turn the wrench. The 11/16 Inch end does not fit the 1 ½ HP McCormick engine– might fit the 3 HP engine but we don’t have one of those to test it on. Often furnished with the engine. This tool is unmarked. Antique International Harvester tractor oil fill cap IHC McCormick Deering td35
I have 2 Old International Harvester oil fill screw on caps. I have sandblasted. Primed, and painted them. The threads were chased out with a tap so they are clean as well. They are in excellent condition and ready to screw onto your engine. I think these came off of some TD35 crawlers I parted years ago but cannot remember. They used the same cap on multiple tractors so it should fit just about any of the 30's 40's 50's IHC stuff. The caps measure about 3 7/8" across outside. And about 3" across the inside of the sealing ring. The number cast into them is 3713DA. Also the old circular IHC emblem is cast into them. Please see the pics for details. Old McCormick Deering IHC Type M Hit Miss Gas Engine Handbook Steam Tractor WOW
This is a really neat old book called the"McCormick Deering Gas Engine Handbook" It measures about 6 x 9 inches and has 64 pages. It covers every aspect of construction. Operation, and rebuilding of the International Harvester Type M gas engines! It is heavily illustrated and is a must have for anyone that has an M or is rebuilding one! I don't know when it was published but it says on the first page that it was copied from the original at the library at the University of California, Davis. It is in great condition with very minor soiling and wear. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.

McCormick Deering No 6 Horse Drawn Sickle Mower Gear Box Covers
This is a cast iron gear box cover and a sheet metal gear cover for a McCormick Deering# 6 horse drawn mower. The cast iron cover is in great condition and comes with hinge pin. The sheet metal gear cover has some rust out on the the front edge. It comes with its mounting brackets and bolts and nuts. The rusted out area could be cut off and would not be noticeable due to the fact that it wraps around underneath the large gear. The rest of it is in solid shape. Both pieces are covered in surface rust and I have made no attempt to clean them up.

Up for sale today is the brass drain for your IHC type M engine. This one came off a 1 1/2 hp engine. In good shape with no damage or repairs. Threads look good. May also fit the 3 hp engines. Has 1/4" npt. Great finishing touch for your engine and makes it easy to drain for storage. Shipping to the lower 48 only. Take a good l ook at the pictures. Items are sold as is no warranty.
