Up for auction is a McCormick Deering IHC W-4 W4 Farmall W 4 Tractor. This is a 1949 model year. This tractor starts. Runs and drives very well. This is a very clean original tractor. It has good tinwork. The rear fenders need some work. It has older but sound tires. The rims have had some calcium exposure. There is a reserve on this tractor of less then $2000. This would make an excellent tractor for a collector who wants to use it for tractor drives or even light use on the farm. Please see our very detailed video to hear it start. Run and drive! Old IHC McCormick Deering 15-30 Brass Tractor Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine WOW
This is rather hard to find original brass carburetor for an International Harvester McCormick Deering 15-30 tractor. It may have other applications as well. It is in excellent conditon with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and has only minimal wear as can be seen in the photos. It mounts to the manifold on a triangular bolt pattern. It has very wear on the throttle shaft and probably came off of a running tractor. Everything seems to move as it should. It is missing the water system bowl but many of these were removed when burning gasoline instead of kerosene. It is also missing the fuel bowl drain needle but these are available as reproductions quite inexpensively. It needs some more cleaning but will shine brightly after this. These original carburetors are getting tougher to find in the wild every day so if you need one for a ... moreproject don't overlook this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. 1939 FARMALL F 14 F14 INTERNATIONAL MCCORMICK DEERING ANTIQUE TRACTOR
Up for auction is a 1939 Farmall F 14 antique tractor. Serial number FS153558. The serial number on the ID plate matches the number on the engine block. I have had this tractor for about ten years and like several others I'll never get to restoring it so it's up for sale. The F14 was only made for two years 1938 and 1939 so not as many are around as compared to the F12 which was made for seven years from 1932 to 1938. I.H. changed over from the F12 in late January 1938 to the F 14. Not too many changes were made. The F14 incorporated a taller steering column and seat for better visibility. You can see an F 14 by the steering shaft that tapers down to the pedestal as compared to the F12 that has the steering shaft straight across the hood. They also installed much longer brake levers for ease of reach and more leverage to stop the ... moretractor. Believe me it makes a big difference. I updated one of my F12's to the taller ones. There were also options for the type of fuel either gas only or gas and kerosene. There were two different tanks on these dual fuel models, one small one to start on gasoline and the large tank was for the cheap fuel. As gasoline became cheaper most farmers stopped using the kerosene because it required more maintenance like pulling the head and cleaning out the carbon. Over the years most of the small starting tanks have been removed and just the large tank used for gas. This tractor has the correct hood for the starting tank with just a patch screwed in and covering the hole. Tanks are available online or you can replace the hood and use one that didn't have hole cut into it. They are also available. This tractor has a stuck engine but it is complete and NO cracks in the block. I took a picture of the side of the block where it shows the block part number of 4818D. This area is the most common area on an F12 or 14 to crack from freezing when the farmers didn't use antifreeze and forgot to drain them or didn't drain them all the way on the real cold nights. This is off an old IHC McCormick Deering corn picker. At least I think it was but the chain is an old one farm fresh usual wear for the age and has the duck bill son it to move the corn along threw the picker and the holes in the chain are 3/4 wide by about 1 inch long and there is about 6 feet or a little better of chain. This auction is for a vintage McCormick Deering aluminum milker complete with the stainless lid and valve. This is very solid and in good condition considering its's age. The handle is rusted and the handle on the lid is loose on the one side( easy fix but will leave it up to the new owner) This looks like it has the original style seal that stand to be replaced. Antique McCormick-Deering Hand Crank Stone Sickle Sharpener. Complete Unusual!!
Up for auction is this antique McCormick-Deering hand crank stone sickle sharpener. It's made out of cast iron and is all there. I bought this only because it looked like something"Rube Goldberg" would make!It was covered with a 100 years of barn dirt so I gave it a quick pressure wash just to see what was under all the dirt and grease. This measures approx. 16" x 1 2" x 10" Not including the handle. You can still see some of the original red paint. After I took the photos I sprayed it down with WD-40. It needs a more thorough cleaning and then a coat of paint or just leave it as is. This rare item really belongs in a museum or a collection! Please ask any questions. I accept PayPal only.
