John Deere Pony Starting Motor 720 730 820 830 Runs
Up for auction I have a John Deere Pony Starting Motor. It was on a tractor and running 3 years ago. It had the coils wired around to automotive style coils. So I know that part will need repair. It ran pretty good, enough to start the big motor. I will not guarantee that it runs now. It came off a late model John Deere 820 tractor. I will also include the air cleaner as seen in the picture. I feel like this pony motor will be a good candidate for a rebuild or good for parts. The starter was working fine at that time on the pony motor. The engine serial number on the tag is SE1426. It should fit a model 720, 820, 730, 830. I think some parts will fit a model 70 and 80 tractors also. What you see is what you get. All parts are sold as-is.
