In above average condition. The exhaust pipe bolt flange is very nice with no broken ears. The area where the exhaust sits is not eaten away at. The gasket surfaces are very good. The surface to the cylinder head will need a little more clean up. But it looks like you will be able to use it with out resurfacing the manifold. The inside of the manifold is clean, with no carbon build up. All the stud bolt holes are perfect and the manifold is not cracked or broken out around any of them. The part number is nice and crisp. John Deere Pressed Steel Rear 9 Bolt Wheels& Armstrong 11.2x38 Rear Four Ply Tires. Came off of the 1940 A Tractor Shown. Awesome Set! I would rate the tires at about 95% on the Conservative Side. Some of Bar Treads Still have the Rubber Tips on them yet! These tires haven't seen enough use to even wear all of the tips off yet! Very Attractive Vintage Looking Tread Pattern. New Tubes Inside were put in when the tires were put on. There is No Cracks or Breaks or Sun Damage Anywhere on the Tires. Rims are Excellent with No Rust Damage. Very Solid. They are Factory John Deere Wheels Stamped JD1253R on each one. Bolt Mounting Holes are Nice and Round and Not Cracked or Welded. The Tires are wet in the photos because the auction lot where I bought the tractor was a total mud mess and as you can see in the last photo of them still on the ... moretractor you can hardly see the bar treads. But with the tires wet you can see how sound and clean they are and they would armor all up really nice for a show. I would repaint the wheels if you want these to be on a show tractor. John Deere equipment machinery door cover part ??? cast iron antique vintage
This is an antique cast iron door or cover off some type of John Deere equipment or tractor. I am not sure what it is off of. It is aprox 11 3/8" long and 5 1/8" high(excluding the hinges) The hinges are about 8 3/4" center to center apart and have a 1/4" hole. It has a cast in part number of Z412-H on the back side. I have sandblasted it and there is no damage to the part other than the original casting flaws on the left end as you are facing it. There are a couple spots that did not fill correctly and you can see through the small holes if you hold it to the light. I pictured them as best as I could. I've had this kicking around for probably 15-20 years trying to come up with some fancy idea of what to do with it. The lids are stamped John Deere and has a four legged deer.It has a heavy cast iron bottom. There are a few dents in the sheet metal sides. But no through rust. Description This is a John Deere Gator that I owned for a while. This Gator is powered by a 10 Hp Gas Kawasaki engine and it runs real good. It has 2500 hrs on the hour meter; it doesn't smoke. Doesn't burn oil, and doesn't rattle. It's a gas pedal start system like a golf cart(it only runs when your foot is on the gas pedal) Its 2WD. The tires are between good to like new. Includes bumper, rear reciever hitch, floor mat, and oil filter adaptor for engine. This machine has been completely serviced. Lights work and Parking Brake works. It has a manual dump bed. But it does have a the wire harness and switch for a electric dump bed. When I first bought this Gator, it didn't have a tailgate, so I made a metal mesh gate for it. Since this is an early 2000s model John Deere Gator and not a 2013 gator; It will have some minor ... morenicks and some cracks in the plastic. This machine doesn't drive real fast; it drives at a speed of 10 to 12 mph. This machine is made for towing and going up steep hills. It can haul about 800 lbs and tow 500 lbs.
