It was restored about 7 years ago and we'd call the paint at least an 8/10 now still. Tires are like new with the nub still on them. All mechanicals on this 320-U are very good or better including starting. Driving, steering, brakes and shifting. The original center steering wheel emblem is correct but it is used with a little aging but still looks good. There are a couple places where the paint will need touched up like the bottom part of the gas tank where the sediment ... morebowl screw on and the piece that connects to the engine block from the radiator, very minor touch ups. The tractor also comes with a great working restored John Deere#47 mower powered by a rear pulley. As you can see in the picture with the mower on it. This tractor is a good running tractor that would make a nice restoration project. The tractor starts and runs very well and all the gears are working out fine. There is a gas leak on the on/off valve but when the gas is off the leak stops. The tractor comes with the 3-Point and draw bar pictured but we do not have the top link. As you can see in the pictures. It is missing the nose cone, but we have seen some on eBay for a very reasonable price in the $200-$300 range. The rest of the sheet metal is in good condition. All of the gauges are working and the tractor comes with the new battery that is pictured. As you can also see in the pictures. The rear tires are in very nice shape, in the 85% range, the fronts are pretty weather cracked but are holding air just fine. Just removed from a John Deere F910 front mount mower. Thought the engine was bad so we removed it and disassembled it only to find that one of the valve seats was loose and losing compression. Valve seat will have to be reinstalled. Compression read 120 lbs. in other cylinder.Too late now so we're parting it out. Cylinder walls show some discoloring but are smooth ad no scoring. JOHN DEERE MCS TILT DUMP MATERIAL COLLECTION SYSTEM BAGGER 318 316 420 430
This attachment is located in southern Indiana zip 47106. This is a factory John Deere manual tilt dumping material collection system. It does need some work/parts to be put back in service. The blower and drive shafts spin smoothly. The hopper is in good shape and opens/closes/tilts easily. I do not have the tractor pto to run the blower. You could mount a small engine to power it. I also don't have the brackets to mount it on the tractor, this could be modified for a three point hitch. The bottom latch that holds the hopper door shut is broke, you could put a latch on each side. I do not have the boot that fits over the end of the deck or hose from the blower to the deck, agri-fab makes some universal parts. The blower speed control lever is frozen as is the lower mounting brackets and the idler pulley on the front. Also you may need ... morea piece of rubber or foam where the input pipe meets the hopper. This attachment weighs around 250lbs, I can deliver it for $0.80 mile one way from zip 47106. I have a very nice running John Deere Model 445 tractor. I have owned this tractor for awhile but has sat more than I have used it. I have put a lot new parts on this tractor: New seat cover. New front and rear tires, new hydraulic lines, tune up, oil and filter change, new battery, transmission flush, and touched up the tractor and mower deck with factory John Deere paint. It has a 22 HP twin liquid cooled engine, overhead valve, cast iron cylinder lines, fuel pressure lubrication, and EIE fuel injection. It has low hours 931.4, differential lock for added traction. The front bucket loader is a John Deere 40 and has been used very little. Everything on this tractor works great and runs great. Now this tractor is used so there are some flaws on it. Hood has a crack(which is seen in pic) clip on side panel missing, chip on panel by the throttle, ... moremissing a wheels on the deck, chip on left front side panel, right side of deck has a little bend(easy fix) and has some cracks in the side panel.
