Good Oil Pressure Restored Value $27.000-$30,000. 1 of only 844 ever made. ORIGINAL Serial Plate. 330-S# 330014 Here to the highest bidder is a rare John Deere 330-S. It was made in 1959 and the serial number is# 330014 with original plate that has never been removed from the tractor. The tractor starts and runs very well for its age. There is no smoke or blow by and no noise in the transmission. The clutch was recently adjusted and goes into all gears just fine. The hydraulics do have a little hick up in them. When raising the arms it will drop a 1/2 inch and then go back up again. That is the main mechanical mention we know of. We also know if restoring it you'd put ... moreon the correct muffler and the ears and the manifold are good. The tractor is missing the lower half of the nose cone. Tractor comes with the top part that is pictured with green paint on it. We know of 430/ 330 used nose cone in real good condition in the Midwest for $450 and we can give the winning bidder the information on that one. Then you could probably sell that top piece separate for around $300. The left side of the battery cover is not with the tractor but they sell for around $25 new. The tractor does come with the three point arms. The top link shown does not go with the tractor as that was off another John Deere there on the farm. And same with the piece between the bottom 3-Point arms. However the original drawbar it with it though was taken off to operate some other equipment. So the original drawbar(not shown) does go with this 330. John Deere 430W Tractor. 1959 John Deere 430W Tractor. Two Cylinder Gas Engine Runs good. Drives quiet in all gears of the five speed transmission- equipped with the Live PTO option. Tractor has good working Factory Power Steering. Factory#36 Hydraulic Loader with manure bucket/tines and optional snow scoop. No leaks or drifts to the loader cylinders. Loader is a quick detach type- pull several pins and the loader can be easily removed or mounted. Good Serial Number Tag on the tractor. I do not see any breaks or welds on the center axle tube. Three point raises/lowers fine(do not have the factory toplink) There is some play in the steering bushing under the steering wheel. Some rust is visible around the valve stems on the rear rims. Several welds are present on the loader frame. I would be willing to seperate the loader from the tractor ... moreand sell it for a lower price. John Deere 240 Lawn Mower Garden Tractor fc 420 !!!!
item for sale used john deer 240 riding mower runs and functions well for the most but it does need some repairs and adjustments. one being the govenor is not functioning propper probabbly just needs adjustment or new spring it will kick in when you manually by hand put tension on it while running. also a couple other things the handle on the side for deck adjustment seems to be stuck probabbly needs lubricant.motor seems to run real well how ever it makes a little noise when running no knocks. just a little weird noise at mid rpm with nothing engaged could be exaust or pulleys just noticable with the hood up. motor does not miss a beat when deck is engaged and the noise is less or gone then as well. also the switch for the electromagnetic clutch needs replaced and you can see the seat has a bad spot in it. in the event you purchase it you ... morecan see it cut and hear it run but the govenor limits its abuilitys untill it is fixed. high rpms with the govenor not functioning propper will make it come unwrapped. this is a very nice mower just needs some fixes here and their money well spent. This unit was modified by widening the attaching points of the blade to the tractor by approximately 5/8 inches to accommodate the sub frame for a 44 loader assembly. You can leave your loader frame on the tractor and still use this blade. Only the top of the blade mount was moved. This was enough to clear the sub frame but still leaves the bottom portion of the mount to fit tightly against the tractor frame. You can still use this blade on a tractor without a 44 loader sub frame. Use with or without. NEW cutting edge installed. The bottom of the plow isn't worn into the nuts and bolts like most.
