1923 FORDSON"F" EARLY FORD) VINTAGE FARM TRACTOR(RARE! This is a nice rare 1923 Fordson"F" early Ford Motor Company) vintage farm tractor. It came from the estate of a farm tractor collector and was the oldest tractor in his collection. It appears to have had an older restoration at one time and could use a freshen up paint job. This was a tractor that the previous owner drove around and took to shows and parades. It is in overall very good condtion especially for being 90 years old! The tractor has a Holley model 280 vaporizer(basically a carburetor) and a rare TACO(Tractor Appliance Company) governor/spark adjuster. The previous owner installed his own version of a"hot shot" style battery ignition assist to ease in starting the tractor. As was a common and good practice for these early Fordson tractors the ... morecoils were removed when the tractor was not being used and stored in a extra dry location. Unfortunately they were also misplaced along the way. New aftermarket and rebuilt Ford coils are readily available. Though the tractor hasn't been started in a while the engine turns free and appears to be in complete running order aside from needing some coils and if you wanted a 6-volt battery for"hot shot" style battery ignition assist. It has gasoline in the tank now so It appears the tractor has already had the gasoline conversion done to the vaporizer so it no longer has to be run on kerosene as the Fordson"F" tractors originally had. It appears that the manifold has one crack on the intake portion and one crack on the exhaust portion that have both been covered or patched and then clamped over. New aftermarket manifolds are available if you see the need to replace it. The tractor has had an expensive and nicely done air tire conversion done to the wheels that uses standard tractor tires on both the front and the rear. Ford Fordson Tractor Holley Kerosene Vaporizer, Great Condition!
Here we have a Model 280 Holley Kerosene Vaporizer for a Fordson farm tractor. It is No. 160690. And the last patent date is 1919, so it probably dates to the 1920`s. I removed the top cover and it is still good and solid inside, nothing is rusted or burned out, the throttle and choke shafts have very little play to them, it looks complete, and still has most of the original paint on it. There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs to it, and I doubt that you`ll easily find one in better condition than this!

You are looking at a antique PAPER ADVERTISEMENT from an old undated cookbook. Inventory#001140 The photo shows the size of the paper in inches. Some of them have margins which is included in the size shown in photo. I have dated the cookbook to 1929 by researching the advertisements. There was an add for a Chevrolet Coupe for $645 which was current price in 1929. A bank advertisement research shows it changed it's name in 1930 and closed in 1931. I feel confident the year is accurate! The cookbook was from Royal Oak Michigan. Some ads do no show address- I am listing as a Royal Oak business. A great piece of history. CONDITION: The cookbook was heavily worn and stained. Previous owner had taken a pencil on scribbled back and forth over a small section of the ad on some pages- have no idea why! This ad does not have a scribbles! All the ... moreads have printing/ handwriting on the backside of the paper. The thickness/ texture/ color of the paper varies from each magazine so most times you can see the printing from the backside.
