Ford 555 Backhoe (No Reserve)
We have a Ford 555 backhoe that runs great. It has some new hydraulic lines and two new front tires. It does have some rust on it. The front windshield is cracked but does not block your vision and there is one tooth broken off the hoe. I am unsure of the exact year. The guy I bought it from said he believed it to be a 1982. It can be shipped if you set it up. I will drive it on the trailer or help out any way I can. It starts right up and the hydraulics are smooth. For a short time I shifted from being a heavy equipment field mechanic to being a service director at a construction equipment dealership. I had this old Switzer turbo kicking around so I tore it down. Glass beaded most of the parts and painted Ford Blue and Red. I wanted something a bit offbeat to have on my desk as a conversation piece. The turbo is quite sound having come off a running engine that was replaced with a new BSD444T Ford crate engine. This winter I personally have done a complete transmission/hydraulic flush with new hydraulic oil an filters. An a fuel filter an oil change.I also replaced a couple of hydraulic hoses.not all of them are NEW, but they are in good shape an don't leak.It is a VERY solid machine! YOU WILL NOT FIND A USED BACKHOE AS DEPENDABLE ANYWHERE NEAR MY PRICE. Elk Forest Farms. Inc. is pleased to offer a Ford 555B 2WD tractor loader backhoe up for sale. The machine is powered by a 4-cylinder Ford diesel engine. The engine starts and runs out well. We just put a new battery in it. The transmission has 4 main speeds and works well in all speeds. All hydraulic operations run out well. I see the front oil cooler has a pin hole leak in it. I think this can be patched easily. The cab floor has some rust on it. The main door latch button gives some grief occasionally. The machine has a full cab with heat. The machine runs and works well for an older, used machine. This machine was bought new from the town and loaded mostly salt. The backhoe portion was rarely used so the backhoe is really tight on the machine. The two-stick backhoe controls are a little stiff from sitting also. 2000 Ford New Holland 575E, 4x4 rubber tire backhoe enclosed cab
Thank you for looking. You are bidding on my 2000 Ford. New Holland 575E rubber tire backhoe. It is a 4 wheel drive, extendahoe unit. It has an enclosed cab with all glass and pieces present. Machine has a Wain Roy quick coupler with a 16 inch digging bucket. It is a 4 stick operation. The loader bucket is in good condition with a good cutting edge. The tires are in descent shape and serviceable. All hold air and are in usable condition. The left front is the newest, overall I would put them at 30-40% The Backhoe starts easily does not smoke or leak. All hydraulic functions work properly. Machine has lots of power.
