Nice Heavy duty excavator to get your digging done quick. This unit is in great shape overall. It has the extra wide tracks to keep you floating above the mud. High/Low speed tranny. The engine starts and runs great. Very strong. The hydraulics work good. It will pickup a full bucket of muck all day long. It goes forwards and backwards and It steers in both directions. We have a local hauler that can haul this for you for extra $$$. The hour meter is at like 400 hours but it has been replaced due to malfunction. Total machine hours are like 4k now. It recently started losing hydraulic oil from the overflow valves for the house lock/ brake feature. It appears to just need an internal seal kit for that. John Deer Original 630 Front Grill Nosecone. Came off of a 630 Gas Tractor. Very Solid Nose. No Rust Through Damage, It will need screens as most of them do. There are a few minor dings on the front top of the nose but nothing serious at all, It has been sandblasted, the most work it will need is when it was sandblasted they got a little too aggressive with the sandblasting and it warped the side panals. The best way I can describe it is if you were standing in front of the tractor and gave the nosecone a big bear hug and the backside of the side panals are curved inwards. see photos) All of the Bolt Mounting Holes are Intact and Not Torn Loose or Cracked. All of the Gear Shifting Forks are in Great Shape, Not Broken or Welded, Sliding Shafts Have Good Indents, Upper and Lower Gear Shafts Have Good Ends with Nice Splines, The lower shaft will need one bearing replaced. All of the Gears are in Very Nice Shape, None have Broken, Chipped or Missing Gear Teeth, They show some wear on the corners of the gear teeth, but I would say its below average wear. All Fasteners, Clips, Retainers, etc Included. I myself would personally replace the bearings, just because you would have your tractor torn down this far already, it would just be good practice. John Deere 1959 730 Gas Row Crop with Factory Square Wide Front! Serial Number is 7319633. We bought this tractor from a Gentleman near Mankato. MN back in 2011. His Uncle bought it when it was 2 years old from the Original Owner, He then bought it from his Uncle and farmed with from the mid 1980s up until we bought it. A Real Fresh off the Farm 730 Tractor. The Tractor Starts and Runs Excellent, It will idle right down to a Very Slow"Pop.Pop.Pop" Sounds Great! Engine is Strong. We have used it for discing and pulling dead tractors around the yard, etc. Float Ride Seat, Upright Airstack, Single Hydraulics. Hydraulics Work Good, it has 15.5x 38 Matched Rear Tires. I would rate them at about 80% on the conservative side, if you see them in person you would probably say they are better than that, but they are at least 80% Engine has ... morehad the Head Rebuilt, Manifolds Replaced, Rebuilt Carburetor, that work was all done in the last 5 years. The Wide Front has the Correct JD1290R 16" Heavy Duty Wheels, New Flywheel Side Steering Arm on the Wide Front. There are No Cracks or Breaks anywhere on the Front End. The Front Hubs have bolts going completely through with nuts on the backside. Sheetmetal is Pretty Straight, There are a couple of small dings on the top front of the nosecone but nothing deep or creased. Also the hood has a couple of dings on the top closer back towards the dash(see photo) No Rust Through Damage Anywhere. There is a little hinged panel bolted to the hood that was used to keep the weather off of the distributor. The Power-Steering works like a new car and is very easy to steer but the pump does leak, and since the time we have owned it and used it nearly 2 years, we have only added oil to it once. Brakes Work, Transmission Shifts and Operates in all of the gears and works as it should. The Clutch is probably going to need some new friction discs in it, its getting hard to get the pulley to stop by pulling the clutch lever back, we will try to adjust it and get it in better working order
