This is a typical Art Deco figure produced by the factory: N.V. Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland Gouda Dates from early 1930s. Whilst this is not marked Etha Lempke, it is very similar to those designed by her. Measures just over 12.75inches high. 2inches wide at base. As you can see from the photos provided, there is all over crazing to the glaze however I am confident that this is original as with many other wares produced by potteries in the Art Deco period. A very fine Town Plan of Amsterdam published for the SDUK in 1835. Guaranteed genuine with most attractive original handcolouring. The scale is approx. 28cms to 1 mile. Along the bottom are sketches of the most important buildings. There is also an inset map of the environs.This example is in very fine condition. Welcome. This small lot of three items are all from New York Worlds Fair's. I know. It may sound silly to some, but we feel that some items have a special'vibe' together, a special'bond. Having been together for so long, and in their hayday, sought after, collected, purchased, carefully carried home, likely on the subway or a long bus ride, to be displayed and cherished together. These were found together among other worlds fair items in the Estate(s) which we are slowly and carefully making our way through(My Aunt& Uncle.s as well as my Grandmother) And so together they will stay. Even though these items are from two separate Worlds Fairs, each was from a NEW YORK Worlds Fair, either 1939/40 or 1964/65. From the 1939/40 New York Worlds Fair: A Pot holder of Terry Cloth in a dual color tone of deep burgundy red and ivory ... morewhite. Depicted are the TRYLON PERISHPERE. We understand this item to be quite rare and we'd think. Especially in this unused condition. The second item was found wrapped in the pot holder. It's a souvenir wooden Dutch shoe from the famed"Holland Amerika Lijn" Cruise Liner. We do not have any other provenance. Other than that's what my family always said(these are from my Aunt and Uncles Estate, which is the primary estate we're managing. We also know that they attended both worlds fairs, with my Grandmother as well. It has crossed flags and also painted on the face and toe of the shoe are the words: BOKMA" and"LEEUWARDEN" On the side is painted: HOLLAND- AMERIKA LIJN" and the insde of the shoe is painted a vibrant red. It is also stamped on the bottom"Made in Holland" From the 1964/65 Worlds Fair: A lovely little personalized pocket mirror with the name"Anne" on it. It's got vibrant coloring and a great graphic of that Worlds Fair icon. The UNISPHERE with very little wear. The mirror is also in excellent condition with little to no scratches. Vintage Josef Originals figurine "Holland" from the Little Internationals Series
This is a lovely figurine from the vintage Little Internationals Series- a little Dutch girl. She is in good condition. But does have 2 flaws that I can detect. First of all, she has a slight abrasion at the right tip of her cap, where the white meets the blue. Also, she has a spot where her bangs meet the middle front of her cap that I think is a manufacturing flaw, as it is smooth and the color is intact. I can find no other chips, flaws or repairs. I have tried to illustrate these condition issues in her pictures and to reflect them in her starting price. She sells as is from a non-smoking home. This is for a(5) vintage souvenirs from Holland cute 6.5" long Dutch hand carved wooden clog shoe. It is not painted like most of them are so you could use this for a St. Nicholas day shoe to put out(like a stocking) It is in pretty good condition but has some stains on it. Looks like bits of varnish, so it either needs to be sanded down or coated with a varnish of some sort. 5" long souvenir bank that is a carved wooden dutch shoe. It hangs on the wall. The red part is metal. The image is a decal. Not sure ow old it is. It is in good condition. 9.5" long wooden dutch shoe. Looks ot be hand carved, has the same decal as the bank above. Red trim on the bottom and around the opening rim. Good used condition. 7.75" wooden platter with an inserted Delft(I believe) tile. I think it is for cheese. For sale is a box of 30 unused vintage paper napkins/doilies with scalloped edges and a very pretty lily of the valley design. These were made in Holland. These are a crepe type paper and have lavendar and orange lilys of the valley with gold accents. As shown in some of the pictures they are decorated all the way around the edge and plain in the center. Condition is very nice with just one ink spot on the edge as shown in the last pic. The next to last pic show the box has age spots on it. They measure 13" square. Thanks for looking!

The back of the tile reads: In 1609 D' HALVE MAEN sailed across the Atlantic commanded by the British explorer Henry Hudson. Then serving with the Netherlands East Indian Company.
