John Deere 24t square baler
For sale is a John Deere 24t small square hay baler. I bought it to begin haying on my 8 acre property. However the USAF deployed me for a year. And then gave me a new assignment in Florida when I returned, so I've got to move on, and therefore I'm selling the baler. The baler is in pretty good condition considering it's been sitting outside for about 2 years. The sheet metal has dings. But the important parts, like the knotters and baling mechanism are in great condition. It definitely needs a good power spraying followed by a thorough greasing. Also, there is not much rust to speak about. The only rust that I deem mentionable is limited to the bottom of the chute where the bale is coming out. But it's not going to affect the function, limited to a small location, and is easily repaired. So you're aware, the baler was ... moreworking when parked, but since it has sat outdoors inactive for a long while it will certainly need to be tuned/adjusted/maintained. Good baler-We bought two of these balers from a local farmer here in KY. The baler listed in this ad is the less sharper(paint cond) but probably as good of a baler as the other one. The father owned one baler while the son owned the other baler. The son got the idea they needed one new baler with a wide pickup. So they bought a new baler but didn't like what the dealer wanted to allow for their 336 balers. They knew what had was good and would sell. So we bought the balers straight out from the father and son. Baler runs out super smooth and is quiet. Baler has good used floatation implement tires. Weight approx: 2515 lbs. Will load fine on an 8 1/2 ft. wide flatbed trailer ... moreno problem. Baler measures approx: 9 ft. overall. We can remove a tire if necessary to get narrow width. Pickup width 55" Paint is very good(original) on the machine. We did put a coat of clear sealant(that is why it is shiny in the photos) on the baler before storage. New Holland 475 small square baler with 55 hp gas Wisconsin
For sale is a small square baler. String tie. It can put away the hay. With wide pickup and a late model 55hp wisconsin with oil bath air cleaner, and screw on oil filter. We put up 5000 bales with it this season and it averages one miss every hundred bales. If it misses more. It has been what I call, self inflicted. For instance, the hay is probably too dry and I should have to idle the motor down so it doesn't pack the bales and break strings. After all, when you baler isn't working right, go inside, look in the mirror, and ask yourself what you are doing wrong. It has hydraulic bale tension and it holds time just great. It has the wide pickup. And is overwidth. To get it on a trailer we have an i beam that fits into the rub rail of a deckover trailer. If you are going to road it somewhere I would recommend paying me to repack the ... morewheel bearings, as I don't know when they've been done. Tires hold air, and are weathered. It has the half chute that drops the bales on their side. I do not have extensions to kick bales up on a wagon. We only used it this season. The guy we bought it from was a mechanic. And he tuned it up fantastic. I love this old baler. As much as one can love a baler. If you know what I mean. Included in this auction is the baler. String, and technical manuals. NOT included is battery; oh. The battery must be disconnected at the end of the day or it will go dead.

New Holland 575 model! Good condition. Always sheded when not is use. There is a little rust on the front door above the plunger. It was there when I bought it several years ago. Every year, I bale about 2000 square bales with it. The last time it ran was in October of 2013. It is wire tie baler, and makes a good tight bale. Wide pickup and it is a commerical type baler. New Holland 273 Hay Square Baler Tractor Deere Farmall
Up for bids is a New Holland 273 Square Baler. Has 1/4 turn chute for setting bales on the side to be picked up with bale wagon. Needles are in good shape with no repairs. Knotters have wear but aren't worn out. Baler is in usable condition with some issues. The first issue is it will need the pickup fingers and two of the pickup bands replaced. The second issue is that it misses alot of ties on bales. We baled some straw with it last summer. It will need some adjustment on the right side knotter as it is not wanting to wipe the knot off of the bill hook. We did not have the time to mess with it at the time so it was parked and the neighbor did the baling. Sold as is where is. Located at family farm in Carrollton OH 44615. John Deere 214 WS Small Square Baler
I have a 1957 or 58 John Deere 214 ws small square wire tie baler. I bought it this last year with the intentions of baling my own hay. I don't have a tractor big enough to run the baler and it is just easier for me to hire someone right now. I did hook it up to a tractor and ran it for a while. I used multi-luber to get everything oiled up good. I tried to bale some straw, but the knotters were not tieing. I do not know how to work on a baler, it may be a simple fix and it may not. It does have an oiling system that requires a plunger to pump oil to different moving parts, the plunger does need work, it seems to be froze up. Everything appeared to be functioning properly except the knotters. The previous owners quit using it about 10-20 years ago from what I understand. It has been kept in a barn. The tires hold air, but probably would ... morenot make a long trip. I do have listed on craigslist locally, so I may sell it anytime. I do have original owners manual to go with it.
