IH 1300 sickle bar mower 7' works/w Ford NH Kubota Massey Case FREE Ship VIDEO
This is an International Harvester 1300 sickle bar mower. It has a 7' bar. It is catagory 1. 3 point hitch. This is another one of my outstanding mowers that I've been listing on ebay for 9 years now. I have completely gone through this mower. It runs out quiet and smooth! We've added a video clip of this mower mowing. It has a new shield on the PTO shaft. That is for safety's sake. And to keep grass from wrapping up on it, so that you don't have to spend your time getting the grass off the shaft. If you don't believe me, buy one without a shield and cut some thick grass. It has a new belt. New double guards, new sickle sections(blades) new wear plates, new sickle bar hold down clamps, and a new grassboard(some call it a swathboard, but the folks who make them call them a grassboard) Notice what good shape the skit ... moreshoes are in. The guards and the shoes are put on with lock nuts. So they won't shake loose. Never put guards or shoes on with regular nuts-they'll come right loose. That is something to watch for on these mowers. A copy of the manual will be included with this mower. These mowers will mow about 70 degrees below horizontal and will mow vertical. The 1300 is my personal preference. They are tough. And IH just got the mechanics right when they made them. I can just claim over 50 years experience with these mowers. Since there is only one of me. I'm 67 years old and started running sickle bars at about age 10, with a side mount on an 8N Ford. These mowers are good for around pond banks. Road banks, trimming under fences, you can even cut hay with them! The price is 2795.00 with FREE SHIPPING in the lower 48 states! Or you are welcome to pick it up here. It is in excellent. This is a John Deere 350 sickle bar mower. It has a 7' bar. It is catagory 1. 3 point hitch. These mowers are great for mowing around ponds. Under electric fences, around trees, and you can even mow hay with them! This is another one of my outstanding mowers that I've been listing on ebay for 9 years now. I have completely gone through this mower. It runs out quiet and smooth! We've added a video clip of this mower mowing. It requires at least a 30 horse power tractor. Take a look at the video and decide whether it'll work on your tractor. The mower is described in the video. It has a new shield on the PTO shaft. That is for safety's sake. And to keep grass from wrapping up on it, so that you don't have to spend your time getting the grass off the shaft. If you don't believe me, buy one without a shield and cut ... moresome thick grass. It has a new belt. New double guards, new sickle sections(blades) new wear plates, new sickle bar hold down clamps, and a new grassboard(some call it a swathboard, but the folks who make them call them a grassboard) The guards and the shoes are put on with lock nuts. So they won't shake loose. Never put guards or shoes on with regular nuts-they'll come right loose. That is something to watch for on these mowers. A copy of the manual will be included with this mower. These mowers will mow about 70 degrees below horizontal and will mow vertical. I can just claim over 50 years experience with these mowers. Since there is only one of me. I'm 67 years old and started running sickle bars at about age 12, with a side mount on an 8N Ford. I've seen these mowers listed on ebay for $3800.00. IH Cub Cadet 149 with Haben sickle bar mower
Here we have a very nice un restored IH Cub Cadet 149 with the 14hp K321 engine and hydro transaxle. This was put into storage years ago and now that the farm is being sold its time for the ole girl to find a new home. This is in excellent shape the Kohler engine runs well with no smoke or"funny" noises and has more then enough power to do what it needs to. The transmission works flawlessly with no creep or wine and the shifter is tight and holds its speed. The Haben mower works fine but i was told that it dose go thru shear pins. I'm not sure why but there is a simple fix(an old trick) to make it stop shearing the pins. Overall this is a very nice machine that is ready for work or with a little paint and some odds and ends would make a great show tractor. Ford 501 Sickle Bar Mower - Northeast Ohio
Here is a Ford 501 sickle mower. I thought it would be an easy way to cut my ditch. But it doesn't cut like a finish mower and now I'm back to using the walk-behind. I'm not sure what all the linkages are for. I just used my 2 side pins and top link. I tried to take pictures to show all the included linkages. I think this is about 500 lb. so it is local pickup only. I can load it on your pickup or trailer with my boom pole. Just in case it is not obvious- the tractor is not included. The mower has been modified slightly to fit a compact tractor. There was a stabilizer bar I had to remove to fit on the 3 point arms of my 28 hp Kubota. Haban 3 point hitch sickle bar mower
Haban sickle bar mower with 5' cutter bar. Cat 1 3pth but it looks like a easy job to convert to cat. 0. All of the bearings seem to be OK. Pto shaft is in good shape, belt is poor, and I have tested the hydraulic lift cylinder and it works as it should. The cutter bar has a slight curve and is missing many guards and the ones present are not the correct ones for the machine. The section knife is also missing and there is well done weld on the heel end of the cutter bar. All and all a very restorable mower that would be a great unit for a compact or sub compact tractor. I will work with you on shipping buy strapping it to a pallet and delivering it to a local freight terminal, FEDX and Yellow are not too far away.

This is a John Deere sickle bar mower spring. This spring is the one that hooks in the chain that floats the bar. Works on a 350 or 450. Maybe others also. This spring has been welded. It came off a mower we are refurbishing. We are going to put a new one on the mower we are working on. Thought someone might want this spring. It is an old weld, looks like it has been there a long time. If I were going to use the mower, I would have left it on there. Anyway, a new one is $144.00. 1940 John Deere L Antique Tractor NO RESERVE Mounted Sickle Bar Mower
1940 John Deere L serial number 633867. This tractor has new front tires, both front hubcaps, the rear tires are 7.50/22 and are 90% tread and in very good like new condition, the rims are good and solid, the engine is a hand start it always fires right up, it has the original crank with it, it does smoke, I do believe it will need rings, but always starts on tow or three turns of motor, the brakes are good, the clutch is sticky, if you push it in it wants to keep going you have to push on brakes to get it to stop and then it will work fine, has rear wheel spacers, one front spindle has been welded on top, the steering is loose on it it will steer fine but it is loose, the transmission or clutch has a whine, the metal is solid one fender has some rust by mounting bracket rest of metal is good and solid, paint is nice, it comes with a original ... moresickle bar mower, which is complete, I never tried to use but see no reason it wont work, this is a nice tractor but it does need a little work, like I said it does start right up, but does smoke when running, with a little attention it will make a good tractor, should be an easy winter project by spring you will be ready for shows and parades. New Holand Sickle bar mower trailer style, Hay cutter
I have a New Holand trailer style sickle bar mower that I no longer need. I bought it from an estate this past spring we were told it has not been used in two years. Since we bought it we found a tractor mounted sickle and are using that instead of this one. The only problem I know of is it needs one new hydraulic hose for the lift cyl. The bar is seven foot cut with hydraulic raise and lower it is PTO drive and takes very little horse power to operate. Buyer must pay Pa sales tax and pick up in Pennsburg Pa 18073, payment due in 7 days and pick up with in 10 days unless prior arrangements have been made. Sold as is with now warranty and no returns. I have a loader here and can load on your truck or trailer. Paper money at pick up is my favorite.
