2004 Bobcat 453 Kubota diesel skid steer loader w/ grapple bucket
Up for bid is a 2004 Bobcat 453 Kubota diesel skid steer loader. I am the second owner of this machine. Since I bought it I have cleaned it up and painted the machine. I just did a quick touch up coat of paint so it looks fresh and clean for the new owner. It has a longer straight edge 42" bucket on it with a hydraulic grapple. this alone goes for $1500) Which works great and has been a tremendous help. I have used this machine to do some landscape construction since I purchased it. It has the Bobcat Quick attach system for the smaller line of skid steers and the walk behind skid steers. The handle is broken and does not retract the pins. I have not fixed it as I have not needed to change the bucket. I spoke with my local Bobcat deal and was told they can fix it or I can buy an after market attachment system and swap it myself. The tires are in decent shape the right side are both 60% the left front is 60% and the left rear is about 40% The machine currently has 2318hrs on it and I have probably only put 30hrs on since I bought it. Oil and fluids were changed and it received a service when I had purchased it. Everything is tight and functions as it should. I hate to sell this machine(because it is a real work horse and can get into some really tight places) but I need something a little larger to run a backhoe attachment and I recently got an amazing deal on a 743. If I didn't already have 3 other skid steers, I'd be keeping this one! My loss is your gain. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. ROTATING BRUSH / LOG / WASTE GRAPPLE
Used rotating grapple. Unit has a 1 1/4" mounting pin. The bucket is approximately 59" wide and the opening width is 69" The grapple if fully open in the photos. The rotator motor says Eaton on the top. The cylinders are approximately 16" long with 3 1/2" barrels and 2" cylinder rods. I have no idea of the capacity of the grapple but it was used to load construction waste at job sites. The size of the cylinders should give some indication of the capacity. We acquired it after it had been sitting in the former owner's yard for years. We have not used or operated this grapple so there is no guarantee of condition, but we can say it would probably need some new hoses. The unit appears to have had various welding and plating over the years, the metal rod cage that is visible in the photos appears to be a safety ... morecage to keep debris from hitting the cylinder hoses. First couple of pages have come loose from the rings and first one is numbered 1-1 showing the skidder. After page1-3. There are several pages of invoices for parts/repair to the skidder. The index, which is the first section, is complete. The pages are not numbered consecutively, but numbered by section and then by pages in that section(Example 0110-1, 0110-2, and so on) Pages also have dates at the bottom ranging from 1981, 1983, and 1985. There are also a couple of loose pages tucked into the back of the binder. It would take forever to go through each page and cross-reference ... morewith the alphabetical listing by parts index, so I cannot say with certainty that all pages are there. However the binder is full and parts catalogues like these are usually intact, but I cannot guarantee that this is the case with this catalogue because of the way that pages are numbered. Nice Bobcat 863C with Grapple. GP Bucket, and Loegering steel tracks. I have owned this machine since 2006. I have not fielded a full crew since 2008 and it's time to let some of this stuff go. The machine shows 1300 hours. The engine in this machine was completely rebuilt at 1050 hours. Nothing was left untouched or reused, I have documentation and photo's of engine rebuild. Comes with the tracks, a smooth bucket, and a brush/root grapple. The smooth bucket is pretty beat up with multiple welds, but is perfectly usable.
